Muddifords Court is a quintessential countryside retreat set in the heart of the picturesque Devon countryside. Whether you are considering Muddifords Court as the backdrop to your exclusive wedding, conference, special event or short break, we welcome you to our venue.

The Cider Barn and The Shippen have both been lovingly restored to create an inviting space perfect for weddings, with each barn holding a licence for civil ceremonies. In addition the magnificent Shippen can easily be adapted to suit your preferences for your wedding breakfast arrangements. We have extended accommodation options with the addition of two shepherds’ huts in our private copse. Our self-contained holiday let, The Roundhouse, comprising two en-suite bedrooms, large sitting room, kitchen and private courtyard garden is also available.

At Muddifords Court, we offer no set packages and no hidden costs. We understand that everyone has different preferences and we wish to make your stay as accommodating to your needs as possible. All our weddings are bespoke and completely unique to you and your requirements, offering you exclusivity of the venue for three days, allowing you to build your own day.

Whether you are visiting for just a day to attend a conference or staying a little longer in one of our individually styled bedrooms, we are certain the charm of Muddifords Court will take your breath away. Our resident ducks on the ornamental lake to our dogs, Millie, Sophie and Maisie, roaming throughout the 14 acres of gardens, it’s likely you won’t want to leave- the perfect place to relax and enjoy your surroundings.

In addition we also offer two self-contained studio apartments just a five minute drive from Muddifords Court, situated in Willand Old Village.
