I have been playing for over 30 years, in pipe bands both in the UK and New Zealand, and also as a solo piper across Europe. I learnt the pipes in New Zealand whilst studying for an engineering degree at Auckland University and my pedigree in the bagpipes goes back a long way. My grandfather set up a pipe band in Chingford in the 50s, my mum was pipe major and my Aunt was in the famous Dagenham Girl Pipers.

I was taught the bagpipes as a child and have been playing for over 25 years. I have played and competed with various pipe bands and now compete with Manchester Phoenix Pipe Band. I teach the bagpipes privately and I'm also employed by the M.O.D to teach the bagpipes at the Army Foundation College in Harrogate to junior soldiers. I have appeared on the ITV Series 'The Dales' as well as 'The Lakes' playing at weddings featured on the programs. I have performed at 1000's of weddings, funerals, parties, and other events and have countless positive testimonials from very happy clients. I am a Highland Piper based in South East England, and have been performing with my Bagpipes at various events since the tender age of 10. I started to learn the Bagpipes back in 1978 and 1st performed a nervous solo at a wedding at Aylesford church. Pipe Major Cameron Edgar is originally from Glasgow where he began his piping career in 1969 aged 13 and since then has achieved great success both as a solo piper and as a pipe band player.
Throughout his competitive playing years he has won many solo piping competitions and is a former World Champion and Champion of Champions winner with the World famous Shotts and Dykehead Caledonia Pipe Band. He has also been, five times over, North West England Piping Society Champion – a record yet to be beaten. Some of his other notable achievements to date are Scottish Pipers Association Winner, Cowal Highland Gathering Winner, North East England Winner and Scottish Piping Society of London Winner.
