Introduced to Danielle when attending one of the Shakes & Ladders Blood on the Clocktower events in Surbiton. Was impressed with how she ran the game, ensured everyone had ample time for conversations, but kept the game flowing and everyone well behaved! Always wanted to play with friends and work colleagues but didn’t have confidence yet to run my own games – and wanted to play anyway; as I’d had such a positive experience I asked if Danielle would run a game for us. The rest as they say is history. On our inaugural work BOTC game I think there were around 13-15 players and it was a huge success. We have since gone on to play a couple more games, and everyone has thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and I’m often asked when will we do the next one! Now of course that’s partly because BOTC is a great game, but it wouldn’t be without a competent, fun and engaging Storyteller. Also worth noting that Danielle also ran a ‘Christmas themed’ BOTC game for us; she did this with all the ease of a GM that’s clearly run hundreds of BOTC games including ‘home-brew’ variants. I can thoroughly recommend Danielle to host whatever BOTC session you want, she’s friendly, funny, courteous, professional and I hop she’ll be running many more sessions for us in the future.
