Event Palms

"Awful company! We hired Event Palms for my grandmothers 80th birthday party - my grandmother is Jamaican and so we wanted to ensure the food was of a good standard on her special day.
The caterers firstly arrived late, a group of very young girls who didn't seem very well prepared from the start. The food took more than an hour to be served and when it was served most of it was still cold. There was not one whole fish to be seen - where the girls had tried to inefficiently heat the food we were left with chunks of fish and bones...all cold.
The chicken was cold and in some cases raw and bloody in the middle
The rice and peas was BURNED and hard and the only edible thing on my plate was the macaroni cheese.
It was embarrassing for us to serve this to family and friends who had travelled a long way and it was dissapointing because this was supposed to be a special day for our grandmother who was not at all pleased with the quality of food.
After the event we sent an email to the caterer who was initially apologetic and offered to refund 50% of the money.
She has since been ignoring ALL of our communications, calls and emails and is also ignoring the company we hired Event Palms through. Absolutely disgusting lack of customer service and she has chosen to take the low road. Karma will come round for Event Palms I am sure of it. AVOID AVOID AVOID"

I'm rating 1 star as I hired them for my grandmas 80th dinner and dance. The food turned up late the food was served cold. Some chicken was raw in the middle. It was a shambles, I got told I'd be refunded 50% of my money within 10 days which still hasn't happened. Not a happy customer and I wouldn't recommend. :(
