Recent review: "The band were excellent. They arrived at the pre-arranged time in order to set up before our meal. They did this quietly and efficiently. Our meal and speeches overran by a good 30 minutes but they wre very accomodating and didn't stop playing until well past the original agreed time. Their choice of music fitted in excellently with the clientele and we thoroughly enjoyed their two sets. We would have no hesitation in using them again and heartily recommend them to anyone reading this review Oh! - and they were excellent value for money. I have heard groups charging much more who were not as good by a mile!"

Recent review: I engaged The Houlies as the Ceilidh Band for our school fundraiser in October, and have confidence in recommending them to anyone. The band were a pleasure to work with, and music was to a very high standard throughout. They also encouraged the crowd to get up to dance, explaining clearly how each dance worked.

Recent review: Great duo, who performed fantastic covers of well known songs and were very professional in their setup and their performance. The combination of guitar and violin worked brilliantly. The Crutwells made for a really enjoyable evening, and come highly recommended!

Recent review: We were fortunate to have the duo Debbie and Fernando playing at this venue one night. They are an acoustic duo with a great mix of their own cover arrangements of modern and classic songs and they were a real pleasure to listen to. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for an upbeat and engaging acoustic duo to hire for their own private event or public performance.

Not only was their playing, dance calling and energy absolutely fantastic, Kate and Roddy's professionalism and flexibility really added so much to our day. I would recommend them to anyone considering hiring a ceilidh band for a wedding!
