I booked The Groovy Cats for my Dad's birthday party and everyone loved them - definitely one of the best function bands I've heard. They played a great mix of music and we all enjoyed dancing along. I can definatley recommend The Groovy Cats and would book them again without hesitation.

"Mikado Grande recently played at our wedding and they were absolutely brilliant! They were great throughout the entire process from booking and payment through to set up and performance. All the comments we had from guests in the day’s following the wedding were around how great these guy’s were! People had an absolute blast and the dance floor was packed all evening. They played 2 sets for us, brought all their own audio equipment and lights, all they needed was a plug socket! They put a playlist together which they put on to provide music to bridge the gap between sets and also let music run while they were packing their equipment away. This provided all the music we needed through to the end of our evening. They were worth every penny twice over and if you are reading this and have any second thoughts on booking them… go for it, they will make your wedding!"

We can play very chill and laid-back styles of songs but also rocking versions to get everyone dancing as well. We are very proud of our ability to mould ourselves to any event.

We’ve been playing together as a band for the past 12 years now but have been solely focused on covers events for the last 3 years. We have totally fallen in love with it and have played a crazy amount of events since making this switch meeting all sorts of crazy and wonderful people along the way.
