We cannot recommend The Soul Department enough, they were amazing. All of our guests said they were the best wedding band they had ever seen and everyone had an absolute blast, they really got the party going. From booking to arrival, The Soul Department were really easy to deal with, responsive and clear, and put us at ease. I would highly recommend booking this band!

Booked for Celebration

The band was absolutely amazing! We had a brilliant time dancing the evening away! All our guests absolutely loved it, and David got everybody up and dancing. Great for all ages - from grandparents to small children, everybody had a fantastic time. David's calling was fantastic and the band was wonderful. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. From the very first, with friendly and quick email exchanges, to the evening itself, the whole thing was marvellous. Toe-tapping, side-splitting laughter, much joy and going the extra mile to make the day special for us - even bringing out the bagpipes to call us all into the barn for the ceilidh. Out of ten, it's a twelve from us!

I booked the band for my 50th birthday party and they didn’t disappoint. From start to finish they were fantastic. Both Jo and Malachi on lead vocals were fantastic, supported by great musicians. I would highly recommend this band if you are looking to make your night extra special.

Neil and Mark were absolutely brilliant, we could not rate them anymore. They have been more than accommodating, from learning a song for our first dance (which they performed better than we could have hoped) to being really flexible and ready to go for us in an instant. 11/10 would recommend for anyone, and will definitely keep their details for future parties.

The Herron Brothers are different, there is zero cheese but plenty of fun and entertainment. We play songs that we love, and the repertoire we've put here is just the tip of the iceberg (feel free to ask us for the whole list of songs). As there are just two of us, it's an organic affair, and we fully encourage sing-alongs or early dancing! You'll love to hear the harmonies from real brothers, and you'll be surprised about the guitar solos that can come out of an acoustic guitar!
