Excellent chef, personable, professional and more importantly the food was very tasty. We booked over the Easter bank holiday weekend and it was our first day of arrival for a family get together. It was a weight off our mind to know that Robert took care of the cooking and tidying up. We ordered a mixture of pea & mint fritter and a ham hock terrine. This was delicious and it was clean plates all round. Even the kids enjoyed theirs. For the main meal we ordered Fillet Steak, prosciutto crisp bearnaise sauce. Again this was a hit!! My father in law who is usually very fussy on his steak finished his plate with no hesitation. The kids enjoyed their own mac and cheese and thoroughly enjoyed helping Robert make the final touches to the pudding. Overall, the family had a great time and really enjoyed the meal. Robert is a fabulous chef and we would not hesitate to use him again.

Responsive, fantastic value and delicious food. Acorn Hog Roast catered for my wedding, and they did a splendid job, many satisfied guests and they were flexible to the dietary requirements (even the more complicated ones) of everyone in attendance. My only fault would be the time it takes to serve food out to everyone, however that's part of what you're getting with having everyone que for food.
Overall i'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for amazing value for good food.

Our chef, Richie, was fantastic. Great communication beforehand and nothing was too much! He arrived on time, set up outside, whipped up a delicious vegan paella, alongside some amazing focaccia and the best vegan aoili I've ever had, followed by vegan brownies with fresh fruit and cream. Such a tasty treat and perfect for my sister's Spanish themed hen! When he was finished, he tidied up and left us feasting. A true gem, wondering what event I can use him again for!

Michael is a very talented chef who created the most wonderful culinary delights for our event.
He was easy to work with, very accommodating and worked collaboratively to make sure everyone was catered for. He was friendly , efficient and worked with us in advance to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and he made our event very special. I would highly recommend him.

"The chef and his co worker were great, very pleasant, checked everything was ok, sorted them selves easily in the kitchen, laid the table etc - perfect!
The food tasted great and they really looked after us.
The only think I would say, is that it was probably a bit too much food, they could reduce the main slightly and the dessert too."
