hi, yes, its on a canal cruise boat in Odiham Hampshire (close to Hook), starting at 730pm til 10/11pm (finish depends on water levels, at present the water level is low so finish times currently at 11) We would like a good range of music from classics like Fleetwood mac/90's/amy winehouse/ to present. It is a small venue and the boat at times will be near houses so t doesn't need to be too loud! There is limited electricity supply as it is a canal boat but there is a socket available for use with extension., it may be easier to have a battery powered PA if possible as the output on the boat is limited. We are having hot food delivered at 9 to the boat which would create a natural break. Food/soft drinks will be provided. Its a 40th birthday party and set up could start from 7pm
It is for an indoors low key wedding reception. We're looking for a folk band to play background music for around 1 1/2 - 2 hours

Indoor wedding reception. The venue has a sound limiter of 92 decibels. We can also have a max 5 piece band. You can come to the venue to see if you can work with the sound limiter.
The event is a Lady Taverners Charity Lunch being held at the Grand Hotel in Eastbourne. Date of Wednesday 24th June 2015 Numbers are approximately 150 (mainly ladies!) Need the Band to play one 40/45 minute set from 3pm only. Many thanks

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to the Mariachi Tequila band, they were brilliant!! They timed it to perfection entering the room after the speeches, it was such a great surprise to all our guests who loved them! Thank you all so much!
If you're looking for a band who will transform a tent full of people having quiet drinks into a raging fury of dance laughter merriment and general good times then BLAG are the act you're looking for. We booked them for a green and event to raise money to fight greenbelt destruction nearby and they instantly communicated with everybody In the room (which ranged from early 20s to late 50s and 60s) the minute they started playing. A great repertoire of traditional favourites and interesting covers especially the doors' "people are strange" They're compact yet sound huge- and the great calling instructions had everybody laughing and smiling no matter how awful they were at dancing the Gay Gordon!. Sometimes this kind of ceilidh can be slow and boring when everybody doesn't really know what to do but the band made it all happen very quickly and very enjoyably . Did I mention they're nice guys as well?
Dear Mike, thank you for playing at my grandad's funeral. You sounded amazing and it added that personal touch. everyone commented on how professional you were, looked fantastic in your dress uniform and mostly how great it sounded. Thanks again mike!
