Lift the roof off your party with the rock-ceilidh band! We mix well-known rock riffs amongst traditional ceilidh tunes on our electric instruments and we give full instructions using fun-filled banter to make sure everyone can enjoy the dancing. We entertain guests in Central Scotland, in hotels, huts, castles, and under canvas. Although we often do 100% ceilidh, disco also comes with the package - many clients prefer 'rock' ceilidh until half-time and then disco to finish the evening.

After many years playing with ceilidh bands both in Ireland and Scotland, award-winning Northern Ireland-born fiddle player, Mary Gristwood, started the Rock Ceilidh Band in 2014 combining her two favorite music genres - rock and trad.

Josie performed for us for a corporate St Patrick's Day celebration event. She was brilliant; thoroughly professional and detail focused in the run up, and went down a storm on the night. Shenanigans were great! They did two 40 minute sets and had music playing in between so there wasn’t any hiccup in the evening. Everyone enjoyed the upbeat tone and we even had some lanky teens attempted Irish dancing. Fabulous addition to the evening.
