Traditional fish and chips served with an American twist. We like to look at E8 Fish as a modern premium fish offering. Under the stewardship of founder Will Davis a professionally trained chef now based in London’s Billingsgate Market, we are able to provide ethnically and traceable produce to our food chain.

About supplier

E8 Fish was born on the streets of Hackney, Broadway Market. We have grown from a market stall offering hot cooked fish dishes to encompass Festivals and Events. A new addition to the family is our fish van with its range fryer, griddle, refrigeration with the ability to be self-powered all day.

Everything was easy to arrange and set up, with fantastic communication throughout. The staff who were serving were very friendly and accommodating. However, we found the food to be somewhat average. We were hoping for traditional battered cod, but it seemed like the fish may have been pre-packaged, which affected the quality. Unfortunately, a few people mentioned feeling unwell after eating the fish. Overall, it was a good experience, but the quality of the food could be improved to ensure we return in the future.

Bearing in mind I booked the big chipper on Tuesday for our event on Saturday, I could not be more impressed. Rob was fantastic at communicating, he was prompt and very self-sufficient. Helps that the food was delicious! I would definitely book the big chipper again.

We can not recommend them more! They were a huge part of the wedding, everybody loved the van, the food, and the guys were extremely responsive beforehand. Easily fed > 100 guests without any trouble, and absolutely brilliant value for money! Thanks so much guys!

The Frying Squad recently catered my husbands 40th. They went down a storm, they arrived early with no issues, set up in plenty of time. But most importantly the food was fantastic everyone raves about the quality and how delicious it was! Would hesitate to use them again or recommend!
