We had the pleasure of Oscar and Barney perform at our wedding. We both have irish heritage and were really looking for an authentic 'irish bar' experience for the change around time. Oscar and Barney we're so accommodating allowing us to select a more flexible option for what we wanted in terms of timings to fit in to our day perfectly. They were very happy to make our irish bar vision come to life! So many people came up to us after about how fantastic they had been. We couldn't recommend them enough.

We are very grateful to David, Michael and Mark for doing such a great job at a Barn Dance/ Ceilidh we held a few days ago to raise funds to help a Catholic Secondary School in Sudan. It was a really joyful evening. Michael, the fiddle player, was very patient and good natured in explaining the dances. Between the dances, the band would play pop/jazz music - and people got up and danced to these as well. By the end virtually everybody was dancing. Blag's versatility and range of repertoire area real advantages. David also provided useful information in the weeks before the barn dance Thoroughly recommend this sort of event. It can be a job persuading people who are unfamiliar with Ceilidhs to come, but once they are there, they really enjoy it. They are very inclusive and we had people of all ages (and dancing abilities) participating. Blag are ideal for such events.

Phil and his band played at our wedding on Saturday and they were absolutely BRILLIANT. First class musicians and Phil was the best caller I’ve ever seen - clear, patient with drunken guests haha, but also so fun and brought such good vibes. Kids through to older guests were all up dancing. Would highly highly recommend. Thank you Phil!

What a superb band for our wedding party - the guys were lovely, really friendly and helpful and got everyone involved and having the time of their lives! A ceilidh is such fun and a great way to ensure *all* your guests are involved in the celebrations - there were smiles on the faces of everyone dancing, and everyone watching! I cannot recommend this highly enough - absolutely delightful, highly professional, and a total pleasure to work with to make sure we had an unforgettable evening!

Silver Street Ceilidh Band were absolutely incredible. They were great with communication from the start, and always professional whilst also being really friendly. We had a wonderful time at our wedding - everyone said what a fantastic band they were, and it was obvious that it was a huge success. Even people who weren't familiar with ceilidhs got stuck in, and it went so well that another couple at our wedding said they would like one at theirs next year. Martin's instructions were clear, we fit in a great range of dances, and the playing was just brilliant throughout. I can't praise them or recommend them enough. They are everything you could want in a ceilidh band!
