We had a fantastic time with the Ceilidh provided by the Stomping Boondocks. The music reeled everyone in - even the ones who were unsure or too cool or a bit older - and united us in having a brilliant dance. I would thoroughly recommend them.

We had so much fun! It was hilarious trying to learn the dances and the band were extremely patient with us. It was such a great way to bring all our guests together, meeting each other and speaking / dancing with people they may not of otherwise. I thoroughly recommend it.

Blazing Saddles were a fantastic find for our wedding reception - they really kept the party going! Debby is a brilliant caller - her friendly manner & funny delivery got every single one of our guests joining in (even the ones who swore that nothing would get them dancing!) Debby & Tim had a very long drive to get to us, but arrived bang on time and both set up & packed away with a minimum of disruption. Our communication before the event was friendly & crystal clear - they were wonderful to work with. We would have no hesitation at all in booking them again & would highly recommend them

Booked for Birthday party

Blag came along and did a wonderful job of entertaining at my rescheduled 50th Birthday party. They were very accommodating, playing their first set outside and then moving inside in the break. They are very skilled musicians and did an excellent job. However, they are misrepresented as a Ceilidh band, as I had asked for a number of led dances and to have a caller encourage people to join in. They did a great set, but chose to play their eclectic set list which included celtic folk, rock, latin, world music, jazz and some some pop / rock covers and no led dances which was a shame as this is what I had asked for. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, just be clear about your expectations from the outset.

Two left feet were brilliant!! The music and calling was so good that nearly everyone there was up and dancing. They helped celebrate my 50th in style. All my friends keep commenting on what a great night they had and were surprised how much they enjoyed it. My friend has booked them for her birthday so I’m looking forward to doing it all again!!

Great night, band were brilliant and the caller, Mary made the evening,! Easy, friendly, clear instruction. Enjoyed by all, the youngest, the eldest and all the ones (who had a one too many) in-between, the dance floor was full all evening. The thanks we have recieved from all who attended has been over whelming. Can't find fault.
