Spring Heel Jacks were simply brilliant! From the moment of booking through to our fundraising Barn Dance, the communication was clear and quick. They made the night by providing great music and dance calling which everyone could follow, even the many novices attending!

We hired the Stomping Boondocks for our wedding reception and they were absolutely fantastic! Most of the guests had never done a ceilidh before but all of them were raving about it after the event. Very responsive with communication before the event also.

We had a great experience from start to finish with these guys.
Martin and I had a good chat through things over the phone in advance of our wedding to answer some of my questions and work out a few logistics and finer details. Martin was very reassuring and accommodating and followed up promptly with details as promised.
On the big day, the band were fantastic. They got themselves set up and adapted without any trouble to a delayed start (our meal had overrun). The music sounded great and the calling was really clear and with just the right amount of explanations to get everyone dancing and more or less(!) doing the right things whilst still keeping things moving nicely.
Nearly all our guests, young and old, ended up getting stuck in, which was great fun and made our day extra memorable for everyone.

Arrived early and were patient and flexible when timings on the day didn’t go exactly to plan. Very lovely people too, laid back and a lot of fun. Everyone had a great evening!

Silver Street Ceilidh are very professional band who were a pleasure to deal with throughout the booking process and on the day. The band was lively, got everyone up dancing and the instructions from the caller were very clear. We had such a fun evening and received lots of positive comments from our guests, many of whom had never been to a ceilidh before. I would definitely book them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for an energetic and enthusiastic band. Thanks!
