About supplier

Our grandma’s family came from a little-known rural area in Valencia called Albufera. Her paella recipe came from her great-grandma using whatever was around, typically rabbit, and chicken with veg olive oil and saffron which we use in the original recipe today.

We organised our party quite last minute due to Covid-19 restriction uncertainty so we turned to Poptop to link us up as quickly as possible with a company who could deliver fresh delicious paella for a party of 100 guests with only a month to go. Poptop came up trumps and paired us with Spanish Homemade led by Manuel. Manuel could have been more helpful and reliable and it was clear from our first conversations that this was something he would deliver, without any problems and I could get on with all the rest of the party logistics. That was exactly what happened- Spanish Homemade advised what combination of Paella would work best, turned up when they promised, delivered what they promised and it was totally delicious and a huge success! I would definitely recommend!!

Richie was great from booking to the event! He was so helpful with allergies and just everything was great! The food was incredible and everyone had an empty plate at the end! Chef Lopez arrived exactly on time, as promised, and cooked a delicious paella for our guests, which went down very well with everyone. The amounts are very generous, so no-one went hungry. Great quality, huge prawns, clams and mussels, chorizo etc. The staff were so easy to work with, a voice of calm as things got underway for us. Thank you again -would recommend to anyone.

Il Fuoco pizza was incredible! The nicest people you could work with, they did everything to make our event special. The guests and even children said it was the best pizza they’d ever tasted! Plus the van is small so can easily fit in difficult spaces. I highly recommend!
