Our grandma’s family came from a little-known rural area in Valencia called Albufera. Her paella recipe came from her great-grandma using whatever was around, typically rabbit, and chicken with veg olive oil and saffron which we use in the original recipe today.

Thanks Steve for catering my dad's wake. Steve was responsive and very easy to deal with in advance of my booking. Steve arrived and set up before we arrived on site, and after battling strong winds during set up and cooking, he made sure our paella was ready for our guests exactly on time. Paella was delicious. Steve helped us tupperware up our leftovers to save for another day, before clearing up.

Richie was fantastic! We got exactly what we hoped for, for our lunch party. Richie arrived on time, quietly cooked the food requiring nothing from us and provided the most delicious paella for lunch. His portions were so generous that we had loads left which he put into his own platters and left in our kitchen. He was brilliant! Would definitely recommend.

Javi prepared sangria, paella and tapas for 23 people. He came to our house and set up his cooking equipment on our patio. He’s quite a show man and produced amazing Spanish authentic food. "staff arrived with all equipment and set up was quickly achieved. Food excellent! Portions plentiful and very tasty. Both the meat paella and fish paella received lots of complements from our members. Whilst the paella was cooking guests enjoyed the lovely aroma.
Clearing up was quickly completed. Both Charli and Domingo were friendly but professional and very accommodating especially when the pans needed moving to berth some boats! Thank you Flying Pig Catering. We hope to use you again."
