I booked Alfresco initially as just a mobile bar to support a 40th birthday event. Early communication was excellent and transpired they had a sister company doing catering... Two birds, one stone!
I had a long discussion about the type of event, expected guests, and was able to tailor drinks to suit both. They arrived on time with a fabulous mock up bar which really added to the occasion (not just a foldy table and some cloth). The staff were professional and polite and prices were very fair. Not one of those companies that milks it's event monopoly with gusto that makes your wallet cry!
The pasties were delicious and even the vegetarian ones revievved rave reviews.
At the end of the evening, they even helped stack chairs and collapse tables when they could have started their journey back to Somerset 15 minutes sooner.
I would highly recommend Alfresco for any occasion. A real pleasure to deal with and consummate professionals. Thank you!
