The chef provided good quality food and a friendly service. We had a five course meal and the mains were much larger portions than expected. Chef arrived on time and the five courses were served on time and in good sequence. It should be noted that you are hiring a chef and not a catering company so once the final course is brought to the table the chef will leave. You will therefore be left with quite a lot of clearing up to do. Final course plates and cutlery, wine glasses, coffee and all the table ware.
The quotation process did not work well. The initial quotation failed to mention that a variation in the main menu choice would result in extra costs and the requirement for a chef if more than eight persons were attending the experience. The chef did not know anything about the discount applied on the initial quotation.
The communication between supplier and Poptop definitely needs improvement to avoid ‘surprises’ between original and final quotations!

Harry was highly professional and created a wonderful dining experience for us at our holiday home. The food was outstanding and he curated a perfect menu to fit the requests of our group. We hope to use him again! The booking experience was also super seamless. 10/10 experience!

This far exceeded our expectations
The chef was on time, organised and left the kitchen spotlessly clean.
The food was beautifully presented, delicious and very generous portions.
Excellent value for money but slightly too fast, the whole meal was completed in an hour, I would prefer some time between courses.

Amazing experience from start to finish.
Arrived on time and the set up worked really well!!
People couldn’t get over how nice the food was, all next day that’s all people in the office was talking about, and how even the food they took home still tasted like it was just off the grill.
I 100% recommend Debbie, real Jamaican dishes with flavour, and even catered for our dietary requirements (halal and plant based dishes) I without a doubt will be using her in the future.
I made the right choice,😊

Ed from Fed by Ed was prompt, polite, professional and very friendly. Nothing was too much hassle and he even poured us drinks. Our kitchen was left spotless and there was no washing up to do. Really enjoyable experience
