We are very grateful to David, Michael and Mark for doing such a great job at a Barn Dance/ Ceilidh we held a few days ago to raise funds to help a Catholic Secondary School in Sudan.
It was a really joyful evening. Michael, the fiddle player, was very patient and good natured in explaining the dances.
Between the dances, the band would play pop/jazz music - and people got up and danced to these as well. By the end virtually everybody was dancing. Blag's versatility and range of repertoire area real advantages. David also provided useful information in the weeks before the barn dance
Thoroughly recommend this sort of event. It can be a job persuading people who are unfamiliar with Ceilidhs to come, but once they are there, they really enjoy it. They are very inclusive and we had people of all ages (and dancing abilities) participating. Blag are ideal for such events.

The Black Velvet Band trio were extremely talented musicians who delivered a good range of Irish tunes to a very high standard, although surprisingly not the song "The Black Velvet Band"!
Overall they provided a great nights entertainment, I think there could have been a little more interaction with the audience, but I would recommend them to anyone wanting to hold an Irish themed night. Unfortunately we were not allowed dancing due to restrictions, once these are lifted the night would be even better.

Fantastic evening, The Nestling Trust are delighted to give Pipley Ceilidh 5 stars! Our fundraising event was a huge success thanks to the great music and enthusiastic musicians and caller. Cannot speak too highly of them all, who went out of their way to ensure our guests had great fun - so much so we’ve had numerous requests to run a similar event soon! Very professional band with a very personal approach. Thank you.

Price of my pig played at my wedding and were absolutely incredible. The whole band were so much fun and got the whole wedding party involved. The band was excellent and evening DJ was perfect. Ben always got back to me very quickly and was so accommodating to all of our requests. Cannot recommend enough!

Kelly's Heros were absolutely spot on. Really got the party going and although we were all new to Ceilidh the caller kept us all right! They arrived an hour early to set up and were flexible to any requests, they even played 'one more tune' at the end. I would highly recommend for any event!
