From booking Shaloma to the day of the event, I cannot fault her! Shaloma responded to any queries quickly and her menu choice was amazing. On the night, she was so so lovely and the food was INCREDIBLE! Absolutely cannot wait to book Shaloma again for another event!

Chef Eugene exceeded all of our expectations. The food was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The servings were generous and ingredients used were of high quality. Chef Eugene explained every dish thoroughly. He was friendly, efficient and at no time during the meal did we feel rushed. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed each course and our kitchen was left spotless. We definitely recommend Chef Eugene and are very grateful to him for making our meal extra special.

Absolutely fantastic evening - thanks again Richie. To all those thinking of making a booking - do it! Food was excellent (way better than we expected given the basic kitchen he had to cook in) and he really went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. From wearing a mask (this was the first interaction we’d had outside our family post the lockdown, and we were a bit nervous) to not letting us pour our own drinks, to leaving us enough leftovers for another dessert the next night, he couldn’t do enough. Also very good communication before the event which was useful as this is the first time I’d used a private chef and wasn’t sure exactly what to expect. He’s also a really nice guy and knows when to get involved in the conversation and when to melt back into the background and leave us alone. I don’t normally leave reviews on sites like this but had to for Richie as was genuinely impressed. Will be booking again for our next special occasion.

Communication and pre event planning was excellent including wine pairing recommendations. The food was very good, ian allowed us to watch a bit as he cooked too. In particular the tomato soup with crab flakes was 😍😍, and having an assistant meant I as the host could just enjoy the fayre. All in all great, thanks!

The team catered for our hen party of 15 wonderfully. They were flexible and great value for money for what we got compared to other companies I had looked at. Would definitely recommend Five!!
