I hired Ed for my sister’s hen, and he was great! We were all vegan and one of us had a nut allergy, and he adapted his menu really well. We also had a last minute dish change for one of our guests, which he was a really good sport about. The food was incredible and he is a really lovely guy. We’d definitely hire him again in a heartbeat :)

Ed was wonderful from the start, reaching out to make sure everything was fine, and agreeing without any issue to do the main dish as well as a pescatarian option.
He was very pleasant to have around, and remained very professional while being approachable and friendly.
The food was, I must say, better than I expected - really delicious in fact and everybody loved it; and served in very generous portions.
The fact I literally didn't have to do anything at all was absolutely fantastic - Ed, after asking permission to open my cupboards, laid the table, prepared the food, introduced and served each dish, took the plates away and put them in the dishwasher and left the kitchen clean and tidy.
Overall, a fantastic service by a very nice chef, great food and the gift of a relaxing evening spent with my family instead of in the kitchen.

Never used a chef at home before but will definitely do it again!! Our evening was perfect. No concerns about getting home, arranging babysitters etc!

Alex and Kristin did an excellent job for my 50th birthday dinner with my family.
The three courses were beautifully presented and tasted delicious. They were so friendly too and polite. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

We were bowled over by just how amazing our celebration meal was, provided by Demaine Artisan. A 3 course meal with canapes for 8 people with diverse dietary needs was served with sophistication and panache. Everything went smoothly from the first booking to the spotlessly clean kitchen that was left once they had gone. The food was exquisite, delicious and presented beautifully, served very elegantly, with friendly and attentive waiting staff who clearly thought deeply about the smallest detail that could make the event more special. On top of everything they are genuinely nice people who you are happy to welcome into your home/property - polite, efficient and great to have met them.
