The communication before our event was excellent so we knew exactly how our evening was planned. Charles our chef was very friendly and informative about the food he served us. He definitely ran the evening meal which we appreciated as we could have plenty of time in the hot tub before dinner. When we had finished eating he cleared everything and washed up leaving the kitchen spotless. We really enjoyed all the courses we had chosen from the menu and Charles advised us of the tastiest way to have our duck and steak cooked. All in all we all believed it was money well spent on excellent food and service and was a great way to begin our weekend hen party.

We had such a lovely time, it was our first “chef at home” experience for a 70th Birthday celebration. The food was delicious, the pea & mint veloute was so intense and the scallops starter cooked to perfection. Mains of the cod with mussels and duck with plum were just delicious and so generous! Just like the best restaurant but without the hassle of travelling or a designated driver!! Artan was so friendly and professional, and the kitchen was left spotless after - couldn’t ask for anything more we really enjoyed it. Would thoroughly recommend.

Ian was a pleasure, he was so flexible even though one of the guests was over an hour late! He took the time to share the origins of the food and was obviously knowledgeable as well as passionate about his produce. Everyone had a different favourite dish as they were all amazing. Personal favourite was his Jerusalem artichokes veloute- Smelt gorgeous and tasted Devine. Such a wonderful experience with no washing up!

I have always been fascinated by Italian food and after a few trips to Italy, I was inspired to create this menu to reflect some of the dishes I have tried on the Amalfi Coast and Rome. I have researched different Italian recipes, taking notes of the key ingredients and techniques used in each dish, I also reached out to local Italian chefs and asked for their advice and recommendations. I knew that I wanted to focus on using fresh seasonal ingredients while keeping the dish.
