Private Chef Review – Chef Ed | 10/10 Experience
We recently hired Chef Ed for a private dining experience, and it exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, the evening was flawless. Each course was beautifully presented and full of flavor.
We began with perfectly seared scallops on butternut purée, pancetta, and pea shoots — a refined and delicious start. The main course was a standout: homemade Beef Wellington with Aberdeen Angus fillet, wild mushroom duxelle, truffle oil, and Palma ham in golden puff pastry. Served with port jus, seasonal veg, and creamy celeriac mash, every bite was exceptional.
A refreshing trio of homemade sorbets (lemon, raspberry, and mango) served as a palate cleanser, followed by a sophisticated dessert of macarons and chocolate crisps — a perfect finale.
Chef Ed also recommended excellent wine pairings for each course, enhancing the experience. Beyond his culinary skill, he was warm, professional, and left the kitchen spotless.
This was an extraordinary meal, restaurant-quality in the comfort of home. Highly recommended. 10/10!

We hired Andy for my wife’s birthday at an amazing Air BNB in Cornwall. He was punctual, very professional and very friendly. He was happy to take pictures for us and with us. Thank you so much for making the day so special Andy. We were all still full the next morning for breakfast.

We were eight people who had the opportunity to cook beef Wellington together with Ed. It was very nice and successful. Ed is a fantastic chef and let us be part of the cooking according to our wishes. The whole event was successful and the food was very good. This was a fantastic experience. Chef Csava arrived on time and dinner was served exactly when expected. The food was fabulous, we will be doing this again and would highly recommend it if you are thinking about doing it.
We booked this in a holiday let cottage and Chef Csava was brilliantly prepared and the night went smoothly. Great value for money and food was really good quality.
