The lads from Behans Footsteps were great from start to finish. We wanted some traditional Irish music to play as guests arrived at our wedding and Barney was very accommodating with their choice of tunes. We would highly recommend them for their professionalism and quality of playing.

We had a fantastic time with the Ceilidh provided by the Stomping Boondocks. The music reeled everyone in - even the ones who were unsure or too cool or a bit older - and united us in having a brilliant dance. I would thoroughly recommend them.

Band were very punctual & professional. Very experienced & clear. We had a group ranging from 10-75 years old. Everyone loved it! so much fun, love & laughter. It was a wonderful event for my daughters 21st I would highly recommend to anyone. Brilliant!!

I booked Blag to provide the entertainment at my Retirement Ceilidh last Saturday and they were absolutely tremendous.
With their fiddle player acting as caller, they guided a novice crowd of dancers through a series of well known Ceildh dances and ensured that everyone had fun, providing us with a night we will remember for a long long time.

Blag came along and did a wonderful job of entertaining at my rescheduled 50th Birthday party.
They were very accommodating, playing their first set outside and then moving inside in the break.
They are very skilled musicians and did an excellent job.
However, they are misrepresented as a Ceilidh band, as I had asked for a number of led dances and to have a caller encourage people to join in. They did a great set, but chose to play their eclectic set list which included celtic folk, rock, latin, world music, jazz and some some pop / rock covers and no led dances which was a shame as this is what I had asked for.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, just be clear about your expectations from the outset.

Silver Street Ceilidh Band played at our wedding in July this year - luckily just after restrictions were lifted so we could dance. And boy did we dance!😄 The band created a fantastic atmosphere which meant that everybody got up and threw themselves into the spirit of the ceilidh. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves (and keep taking about the fun they had).Even the few who weren't dancing enjoyed laughing at everyone else making a fool of themselves! As both my husband and I are from Scotland, it was lovely to be able to be able to bring a taste of Scotland to the south of England for our wedding. The music and caller were fabulous and the band members were all professional and friendly. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for making our special day that extra bit special❤️
