Spring Heel Jacks were simply brilliant! From the moment of booking through to our fundraising Barn Dance, the communication was clear and quick. They made the night by providing great music and dance calling which everyone could follow, even the many novices attending! Thank you John and the rest of the band for making our event such fun. We had so much fun! It was hilarious trying to learn the dances and the band were extremely patient with us. It was such a great way to bring all our guests together, meeting each other and speaking / dancing with people they may not of otherwise. I thoroughly recommend it.

Booked for Birthday party

This my first ever Ceilidh and additionally our first time hosting a birthday party around an activity, and my what a great decision it was! The band was simply perfect - their playing style was exactly what the party needed, the caller was so enthusiastic, easy to follow and funny, and the music they played really filled up the hall and got everyone on their feet. Ceilidh's are great. At first I was worried no one would get stuck in, but actually the opposite happened - every single person got on the dance floor and danced! A perfect activity for either a party of friends, a room of strangers, or a mix of both (which we had). I would thoroughly recommend anyone to host their own Ceilidh, and I would definitely recommend BLAG for anyone looking for someone to book :-) Thank you yet again

What can I say? Phil and his band were absolutely superb would be an understatement. Our wedding party was enhanced beyond measure by their professionalism and talent. As a caller Phil is witty, persuasive and a consumate entertainer going above and beyond to deliver fun and enjoyment. From the moment they started till the moment they finished they had us all dancing our socks off, in one case quite literally. Going above and beyond our caller even made up the numbers for our last dance. I would have no hesitation in booking Phil for future family events.

Phil really was incredible! He gave a group of 16 girls a barn dance lesson as part of a hen part. We all absolutely loved the session, especially the bride to be! Phil was extremely responsive the whole way through and was very accommodating with keeping it a surprise! I would highly recommend Phil, he is really talented and fantastic entertainment!
