Booked for Birthday party

When I went looking for a band for my husband's 60th Birthday party I didn't have a clue where to start. I discovered Poptop and searched through the bands available for the date. What helped me choose The Wonder Whys was their demo and the reviews they had on the site. It is always a leap in the dark when choosing a band for a one off event but I need not have worried. Contact via phone and email directly with the band prior to the party was friendly, timely and informative. I cannot praise the band highly enough, they obviously enjoy performing and their enthusiasm is infectious, their music was exactly what I wanted. Ours was a small event with a range of ages, but they got people up and dancing and the made the party complete. They have a fabulous sound, are lovely people and I cannot thank them enough for making the party perfect, would highly recommend. Husband was delighted and family and friends impressed.

We can’t thank Groove Allstars enough for their professional approach and outstanding performance at our wedding in the Wylam Brewery. We booked the 8 piece band (male and female singers plus brass) and they literally had the whole wedding dancing all night. They were very accommodating with learning our first dance and also let us select a load of songs off their repertoire to work into their current set list. Can’t recommend these guys enough!!

Couldn’t recommend them more, Funk City Band were in touch as soon as I booked them for a 40th bday party and were incredibly accommodating and flexible, making sure they had all the details of the event. On the night they created a fantastic atmosphere and managed to engage the audience and get everyone dancing with the Jukebox Mash-up and their awesome music knowledge of what we’re some quite eclectic requests! Already trying g to think of an excuse for another event 😊

We hired The Alchemists for our wedding party and they were phenomenal. They're incredibly talented and had everyone on their feet loving their lives from the first song. They were so good that people were even trying to dance during their sound checks! Their customer service was excellent from day one and the whole band are lovely, lovely people. We've had so many of our guests commenting on how amazing they were, not just in their performance, but also in their vintage, quirky music style. "Halos performed at my garden birthday party a few weeks ago and to say they were brilliant is an understatement! Throughout the whole process Jim was very professional but also very easy to communicate with. A thoroughly lovely guy! The day was just perfect, amazing weather, England beating Sweden to kick the party off, and the music being the icing on the cake. Chilled, relaxed, funky soulful tunes. Julie has the most amazing voice and Jim and George excellent musicians. We loved them so much we asked them to play for another hour! If you want a cool, soulful acoustic trio then look no further than Halos, you won’t be disappointed!"
