I couldnt recommend Anees and his team enough. We hired them to feed our 45 person work summer party and the service was fantastic and the food even better.
All of my staff have been talking about how delicious the food was (and a number of them took extra home for dinner!)
Anees was available via email to answer any questions that I had and handled some complex dietry requirements with ease.
All in all - a brilliant supplier who I am happy to recommend.

We will be forever grateful to Dawn and her team for the huge part they played in making our wedding celebration the best day of our lives.
Right from our first communication, Dawn was a pleasure to deal with, so professional, flexible and accommodating.
She tailored the menu to exactly how we wanted it and delivered everything promised and more.
We were able to relax and enjoy the day, knowing Dawn and the team had everything taken care of.
The food was absolutely amazing! All our guests spent the evening raving about how delicious the food was and how it was the best wedding food they'd ever had!
Thank you so much to Dawn and the Carriburton team for helping us have the most special day ever!

Couldn’t have asked for more. Dawn was in regular contact from the time I placed the order until it was delivered. She made a few changes to personalise our order and there was more than enough food. On top of all of that….the food was amazing.

"Juicy Roots food was of a very high standard. We were initially impressed with them when we went for our initial consultation and tasting. Cassandra was very professional and friendly and put us at ease immediately. Our first taste of the food had us hooked and we knew there and then that these were the caterers for us.
On the day they served every course with professionalism and speed, and even catered for my daughters special request for apple crumble and Custer’s that their Chef Bobby made especial, that was gone in a flash as it so nic. From the starter to the desert, all three courses were tasty and presented well.
We would not hesitate to recommend and use Juicy Roots again."

"A few weeks before my event, I changed the date and something on the menu - at no fuss from the Mccallas. From the very beginning contact was easy and regular, payments were straight forward and on the day - I was able to relax and know that guests were in for a treat - not only with the taste of the food, but the service, from the Mccallas, kitchen staff and the waiting staff. I have had many people ask about the caterers since the event and I will be sure to use them again!
Thank you!"
We delivered next level parties for exceptional companies

Caribbean Catering in London: a buyer’s guide that actually helps
Caribbean catering and London go together brilliantly. The city’s energy, rooftops and hidden courtyards, the mix of corporate and creative events — everything points to food that’s colourful, generous and full of sunshine. In this guide we’ll walk you through how to choose the right Caribbean caterer in London, what it costs, which menus work best, and how to line up logistics so the day runs like a dream. We’ll keep it practical, upbeat and honest, so you can book with confidence and get back to planning the fun bits.
What “Caribbean catering” typically includes
Most London suppliers offer flexible formats that slot straight into city venues and tight schedules. Expect options such as:
Live BBQ or jerk drum for smoky theatre
Street-food stations for fast service at scale
Buffet spreads with rice and peas, curried goat, fried or grilled fish, patties, mac and cheese, plantain, coleslaw and fresh salads
Bowl food for roaming receptions where you want hot, hearty mini portions
Canapés built around Caribbean flavours for launches and gallery nights
Private chef dining with plated courses for intimate settings
Good caterers handle halal requests, nut-free preparations, gluten-free tweaks and fully plant-based menus. Many can staff a small bar with rum-led signatures, or serve softs only if you’re keeping it dry.
Prices in London and how to budget
For most city events you’ll see pricing in the range of:
16 to 30 pounds per person for buffet or street-food style menus
Typical minimum spends from 900 to 1,800 pounds, which covers staff, equipment, and a realistic base number of guests
What shifts cost up or down:
Service format. Live BBQ rigs and on-site smoking take more time and kit than a simple hot drop-off.
Guest count. Higher numbers reduce the per-head rate once the kit and crew are on site.
Venue access. Rooftops, narrow stairwells and limited lift access mean extra crew and time.
Menu complexity. A vegan island feast with multiple hot dishes and fresh salads is still great value, but variety adds prep hours.
If you’re working to a hard budget, tell us the ceiling and the vibe you want. We’ll steer you to menus that deliver a crowd-pleasing spread without surprise add-ons.

Curated suppliers
All Poptop’s suppliers are rigorously vetted and approved by our team of party experts, ensuring you book the very best.
Fast buffet or street-food lines keep the queue moving during short break windows
Jerk chicken, curried veg, rice and peas and crisp slaw keep both meat eaters and vegans happy
Add a steel-pan soloist or curated playlist to set the mood without drowning conversation
Aim for compostable serveware, water stations and a couple of hand-washing points to keep facilities simple
Rooftop receptions
Bowl food is your friend when wind can make napkins take flight
Choose items that eat well standing up, like jerk salmon bites with mango salsa, or coconut rundown veg
Confirm the venue’s rules on open flames; many rooftops prefer electric hot-holding over charcoal
A steel-pan sunset session works beautifully as guests arrive, then switch to background beats later
Weddings
Mix a welcome canapé round with a relaxed family-style feast to keep energy high
A vegan island feast sits perfectly alongside jerk meats so everyone eats well
Late-night patties or mini mac and cheese portions help guests dance longer
Consider a short blessing of rum cake at the end; you’ll get cheers and photos in one hit
Product launches
Rum-shack canapés tell a story and photograph well for social coverage
Keep flavours punchy but not messy, so guests can network without juggling plates
Create a short, repeatable menu that staff can serve fast between live moments
Use bright garnish and clean serveware; it looks editorial without fuss
Milestone birthdays
Go big on variety and let guests graze over time
Set up a jerk station plus salads and plantain at one end, with a cake table at the other
Add a chilled corner with fresh juices and sorrel so non-drinkers feel looked after
If you’re planning speeches, schedule them before the hottest dishes land
London spaces that pair well with island flavours
Rooftops and terraces. Great airflow and skyline views, but check rules on charcoal, generators and service lifts.
Urban gardens. Perfect for afternoon feasts; confirm grass protection and spill plans.
Offices. Use a street-food station to transform a breakout area without moving the world.
Townhouse courtyards. Think compact kit and tidy service lines, plus quiet hours for neighbours.
Industrial studios. Easy access and power make live cooking simple, with plenty of space for queuing.
Wherever you book, we’ll help sense-check the floor plan, power, water and shelter. A short site note now saves stress later.
Themes that bring the room to life
Notting-Hill-style carnival BBQ. Drum barbecue, vibrant salads, bright signage, upbeat soca and calypso. Ideal for summer Fridays.
Rum-shack canapés. Bite-size flavour bombs and a compact back-bar. Perfect for launches and gallery nights.
Vegan island feast. Ital-inspired mains like coconut rundown, callaloo, plantain, spiced jackfruit, with colourful slaws and grains.
Steel-pan sunset session. Start with acoustic pan as guests arrive, then lift the tempo as the skyline lights up.
Logistics in London to nail ahead of time
Access. Check loading bays, lift sizes and any stairs. If it’s a rooftop, confirm the final stage of access.
Power. Live rigs may need dedicated circuits. If power is limited, we’ll propose menus that hold well.
Fire rules. Many central venues restrict flames. Electric hot-holding still delivers great food with the right menu design.
Weather. For outdoor spaces, agree shade, rain cover and wind management. It keeps service safe and consistent.
Neighbours. Townhouses and courtyards often have decibel limits and curfews. We’ll time music and service to fit.
What to order for different guest counts
20 to 40 guests. Family-style platters or private chef dining work best. Add one wow dish and two sides to keep it special.
50 to 100 guests. Street-food station or buffet line for reliable speed. Include a vegan main, a chicken or fish option, rice and peas, plantain and a bright salad.
100 to 250 guests. Two service points, staggered menus and a roaming top-up team. Pre-portion bowl food to keep the queue short.
250 plus. Festival-style layout with clear signage, wristband colour coding and water points. Keep the menu tight and consistent.
Menus that please mixed groups
A smart London menu balances comfort and freshness. Here’s a simple shape that works for almost any event:
Protein. Jerk chicken thighs or breast, jerk salmon, curried goat, or jackfruit for plant-based guests.
Carbs. Rice and peas, coconut rice or roasted sweet potatoes.
Greens. Shredded slaw with lime, dressed mixed leaves, grilled corn.
Hot veg. Callaloo, pumpkin or aubergine stews.
Finish. Fruit platters, rum cake slices, lime tarts.
For canapés, lean into flavour and tidy bites:
Saltfish fritters with citrus mayo
Plantain cups with spiced beans
Mini jerk skewers with pineapple dip
Little patties with flaky pastry that hold up well during mingling

A sample spend that fits London expectations
Picture a 120-person summer party on a City rooftop. Two stations serve jerk chicken or jackfruit, rice and peas, slaw and plantain, plus a mango salsa topper. Add a short list of rum-inspired softs. You’re in the 20 to 26 pounds per person pocket, with a minimum spend that makes sense for the crew and kit. Switch to bowl food for a slightly higher per-head and faster flow if you’ve only got a tight window.
For a 60-guest townhouse courtyard, one compact station with buffet service keeps things relaxed. Expect 18 to 24 pounds per person, scaled to the menu and access. If the venue bans flames, we’ll run electric hot-holding and keep quality high with smart prep.
How to brief us so we can nail it first time
Share the date, target guest count and postcode
Tell us your preferred theme and any must-have dishes
Confirm venue rules on heat, power, load-in and curfews
List allergens and dietary needs early
Decide if you want canapés first, a main feast only, or a late-night top-up
With that, we’ll match you to reliable London suppliers, confirm a clear price and hold the slot.
