We had a great experience from start to finish with these guys.
Martin and I had a good chat through things over the phone in advance of our wedding to answer some of my questions and work out a few logistics and finer details. Martin was very reassuring and accommodating and followed up promptly with details as promised.
On the big day, the band were fantastic. They got themselves set up and adapted without any trouble to a delayed start (our meal had overrun). The music sounded great and the calling was really clear and with just the right amount of explanations to get everyone dancing and more or less(!) doing the right things whilst still keeping things moving nicely.
Nearly all our guests, young and old, ended up getting stuck in, which was great fun and made our day extra memorable for everyone.

I hired the Capstick Ceilidh Band to perform at my wedding reception and I could not be happier with their professionalism or their performance. They are excellent musicians, they kept the dance floor full and they managed to teach a lot of people some ceilidh dances that had never been to ceilidh before. I could not recommend them more.
