I was a bit nervous about hiring a private chef as it wasn't something I had done before. I chose someone who was local to the area & it transpired that I had dined at restaurants where he had worked & I had been happy with the food & service. Meeting James & his wife Natasha made me feel comfortable - James was very knowledgeable about his food & suppliers & we sorted out a menu. The occasion was a surprise birthday lunch for my husband & there were 8 of us. James & assistant arrived when expected to set up & were very professional but friendly & engaging. The event exceeded expectations. The food was beautifully presented & the flavours were delicious. The kitchen was cleared down after service & James left us with a fabulous cheeseboard to finish. I would not hesitate to recommend James and the company and I will be sure to use his services again in the future.

This was a surprise 70th birthday dinner party for my wife. Edward greatly helped in the preparation of the menus giving a really good choice. He supplied 12 champagne flutes,all cutlery,plates and as advertised, cooked in his own pots and pans. The quality of the food over the three courses was first class and we were lucky enough to have Nick,Edwards waiter, which enhanced the event. It was difficult to find fault on this fabulous evening. Charlie was a great communicator in the lead up to our night and v responsive - he replied to messages promptly and worked out every detail in advance. On the night he was really easy going, he sorted everything with minimal fuss and moved discretely around our event - it took hardly any input from me at all. The food was excellent and everyone really enjoyed the evening . Many thanks!
