What an amazing evening. The band were so entertaining - it was like having a comedy night and band in one! They were so engaging, I loved the banter and the energy! We were a tired group of people (school staff at the end of term) but they did their best to keep us going and keep the energy up. We will all remember this night!

We are very grateful to David, Michael and Mark for doing such a great job at a Barn Dance/ Ceilidh we held a few days ago to raise funds to help a Catholic Secondary School in Sudan. It was a really joyful evening. Michael, the fiddle player, was very patient and good natured in explaining the dances. Between the dances, the band would play pop/jazz music - and people got up and danced to these as well. By the end virtually everybody was dancing. Blag's versatility and range of repertoire area real advantages. David also provided useful information in the weeks before the barn dance Thoroughly recommend this sort of event. It can be a job persuading people who are unfamiliar with Ceilidhs to come, but once they are there, they really enjoy it. They are very inclusive and we had people of all ages (and dancing abilities) participating. Blag are ideal for such events.

We had so much fun! It was hilarious trying to learn the dances and the band were extremely patient with us. It was such a great way to bring all our guests together, meeting each other and speaking / dancing with people they may not of otherwise. I thoroughly recommend it.

Silver Street Ceilidh Band were absolutely incredible. They were great with communication from the start, and always professional whilst also being really friendly. We had a wonderful time at our wedding - everyone said what a fantastic band they were, and it was obvious that it was a huge success. Even people who weren't familiar with ceilidhs got stuck in, and it went so well that another couple at our wedding said they would like one at theirs next year. Martin's instructions were clear, we fit in a great range of dances, and the playing was just brilliant throughout. I can't praise them or recommend them enough. They are everything you could want in a ceilidh band!

Thank you so much for being able to accommodate us on the wedding of my son! What with atrocious weather causing extensive flooding that weekend and having to postpone the wedding from the Saturday night until the Sunday, we were more than grateful that the band was still willing and able to perform on the Sunday. Great music and excellent calling made the evening, with all participants thoroughly enjoying themselves - sometimes with a little over enthusiasm! I highly recommend this band to any future clients booking. The band were more than helpful - especially Jennie with all my questions and the band on the day were superb.
