Chef Pat catered for a hen do party of 17 of us and it was absolutely fantastic! He was quick, arrived on time and got all of the requests perfect! He was extremely friendly, the food was all delicious and there was more than enough (even leftovers!!) Would hugely recommend him for any hen do private chef experience.
Only thing I would mention is if there are any allergies or intolerances then do double check as some of the dishes had mussels in which weren't mentioned on the ingredients. However, despite this, he was very reactive and changed the dish so this is just a minor bit of advice to remember. Would recommend him to anyone having a party with a large group of people- Thanks so much Pat and co!

A truly memorable experience for all the right reasons! John was incredible from the moment he arrived - putting great care, time and skill into preparing a fantastic meal, setting up for dinner, creating a fun environment and leaving the house cleaner than he found it! The food itself was innovative, well-executed and very tasty. The courses came together perfectly and felt like a complete and thoughtful menu. Will definitely be using John again!

"The party was a triumph! Chef Silvestre was so easy to work with - very calm, flexible, sociable and easy-going. He tailored the menu to the group's tastes and accommodated one diner's specific requests. The salmon first course in particular was exquisite. All other dishes were delicious and plentiful although we should mention that the steak in the main course was tough and gristly.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Silvestre and look forward to finding another opportunity to welcome him back to Forest Row to cook for us."

Chef arrived early to prepare for the lunch for 10 that we had organised. Canapés were served first and they were wonderful a great indication of the food to come. We had gone through a menu with Chef Cathcart and agreed a three course lunch with amuse bouche to start ofCornish crab and mango cannelloni. Our starter next of duck rillettes and redcurrant compote followed by the main course Guinea fowl with Tarragon mousse stuffing, cocotte pot, heritage kale with chestnuts and glazed carrots . Dessert was the chefs suggestion of Tia Maria Chocolate Fondant. Every course was served hot and was delicious . We can thoroughly recommend Chef Cathcart he was totally professional and a joy to have in our home. We will certainly be using this very talented young chef again.

Chef at home provided an excellent service for our family celebration. The food was produced professionally and at the time requested. James did particularly well providing a special meal for one guest who was vegetarian, glueten and dairy free. Carla his assistant did an fantastic job helping us relax and unwind, as well as providing service to the table. We highly recommend James as a home chef who provides high quality food and excellent service.
