Booked for Valentine's day

I ordered a Valentine's Day dinner, forgetting that my wife had arranged a cinema trip for that evening, and Harry most obligingly (and quite happily - I'm lucky he hadn't been booked) changed it to a lunch. We made our menu choices, and ordered the paired wines – I'd recommend the wine pairing option, as they were delicious, and the ones we liked most (Harry left us the bottles to finish) were available locally, so we learned something there too. The food was excellently prepared, and the sous vide pork was, quite literally, the tenderest and best-cooked I have ever eaten. The scallop taster was a delight, the crab starter both refreshing and delicious. Our limited pensioner appetites meant we couldn't handle dessert at lunch, but Harry left it in the 'fridge for us, with the croissant ice cream in the freezer. That was the only other thing we ate that day, when we came home from the cinema. Quite some lunch! Thank you so much for making that day so special, Harry. The brownie points I earned with my sweetheart are largely due to you! I hope you'll be catering a family barbecue this summer.

Booked for Hen party

The mobile bar by Cocktail Arts was brilliant. The cocktails were beautifully made, delicious and everyone enjoyed them. There were 16 of us, in a hired house for a hen party and we hired cocktail arts for 4 hours. Even though Zoltan was alone he as able to keep up with demand very easily! He also offered beer and prosecco. We origionally booked for 24 people but had a quite a few drop out due to covid issues but Zoltan was very flexable and changed our booking accordingly. Despite a three hour drive, he arrived well with time and set up nice and quickly. Everybody loved it and it made our evening. I really reccomend and would certainly hire him again.

Fred at Mango Hub was an absolute hero and went above and beyond to make our event special. Food was fantastic! Fred was so helpful, amenable and friendly- we wanted him to stay at the dinner party! Would thoroughly recommend!

It is the first time we have ever had a personal chef come to our home. When we booked the event we had no idea where the chef comes from. I was quite concerned by the distance Chef Paul Williams-Allen had to travel to our home (2.5 hours each way). Having said that he couldn't have been upbeat, positive, cheerful and respectful. He made my wife's birthday a real pleasure. Not only was Paul a pleasure to meet, he is an excellent chef and his steaks were a delight and new experience with the stones. The whole experience was wonderful and it was so easy to book the event. We wouldn't hesitate to use poptop again and couldn't recommend Paul highly enough.

Food was lovely and fantastic service!! Three course meal for 19 of us for a hen party weekend. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They even surprised us with some lovely canapés!!! They left the kitchen cleaner than it was before!! Highly recommend this company for any event! We will definitely be using them again 👍🏼 Thank you very much!! P.S Nobody remembered to take any photos of the food because it was so nice we couldn’t wait to tuck in!!!
