We are both accomplished musicians and provide a lively and varied evening of Traditional Irish Music ie Songs Jigs and Reels. Book Shenanigans you wont regret it. Below is a recommendation from a satisfied customer. Shenanigans, Alan and Steve were fantastic. Everyone at our party thoroughly enjoyed their outstanding performance. They are excellent musicians and Alan has a super voice for Irish songs, both soft and strong. Steve's fiddle playing was superb and complemented Alan's voice and guitar. They were happy to play requests from the audience and had a great interaction with the audience. We would definitely book them again as would most of the people present. As someone who goes to a lot of live music events I was really impressed. Book Shenanigans for a great night of entertainment, we all had a wonderful evening, thank ...

Hello I would like to inquire about your availability on 30/04/16 for a wedding. I'm interesting in the daytime singing of 90s to modern songs from your repertoire. Roughly 1-2hrs to be broken into 2 or 3 sets. Can you please provide a quote for that. Thanks.
It would be for a couple of hours during the reception before dinner while everyone is standing outside with drinks. I like the ragtime, 3 person, banjo, quietly in background. Saw one at a wedding in Wiltshire but didn't get the name.
Would like a quote for the band to be set up for and start music at 7 and to finish around midnight. Would also like the dj option too Venue is Aston wood golf club Blake street
looking to start around 7pm at the Tithe Barn Stanway Gloucestershire, i love rock n roll music. would love to see play lists and be able to pick the songs played if that was ok.
We are currently on the hunt for a ceilidh band for our wedding on 10th Feb 2018, at Manor by the Lake in Cheltenham. There will be roughly 100 people in a medium sized room and we would probably be looking for a Scottish ceilidh of around 2 hours with a caller. My partner and I have been to a few in the past and can’t think of any better way to get people up, and moving about - so any extra information that you can give us would be great. There are a few questions that we have (admittedly some of them may seem bit obvious from the information on the website, but please bear with me!): 1) - Does that date work for you? 2) - Are you able to provide set that is predominantly classic Scottish dance, along with a caller? 3) - What line up/price options do you have? 4) - Would you supply your own PA (if so, is it PAT tested), or would we need to source one?

Hi I'm looking for a band to play at our wedding party in Lichfield on 3rd September. (Getting married abroad donuts just a celebration party) I have a limited budget - £500-£600 and would need a dj system MP3 too if possible?
a last minute idea for mum who is very difficult to buy for as she doesn't want anything!! However she is going to be 80 and has a life long love of classical music. She is no longer able to get to the symphony hall for concerts. It would be wonderful if we could arrange for some live music even for a short time or on the way to another booking! So this would be at my parents home in lichfield, we call it Cookson HQ. refreshments available from super talented brother. There will be 16 of + two labradours! anyway, thanks for reading this.
We had a fantastic time! There was good communication from initial contact through to the end of the event. The band and caller were excellent and she ( the caller )was very encouraging and responsive to the needs of the dancers!!! Most people "had a go" and those who didn't, enjoyed the entertainment. I have had many messages from guests ,since the night, telling me what great fun they had. I would not hesitate to book them again. Thanks for a great night.
We just wanted to say thank you so much for playing on our special day. It was absolutely brilliant - all our guests have commented on how amazing the music was and how much you all seemed to capture the mood of the day so perfectly. My husband was saying how he was smiling from the second you played the first note, all the way to you playing outside under the trees, which we thought was fantastic. Our only regret was that we were unable to thank you in person after the final song, we were unaware we would be with the photographer for so long and wished we could have told you all in person how amazing you were and how much you lifted the spirits of all those there that day, including the venue and catering staff. We truly thank you, and hope you have many more years of playing such great music together, and sorry we didn't get to say farewell again.
What an amazing group of women, with a phenomenal talent. They truly made our event, they were friendly and interactive with guests. They played a wide variety of music in both their acoustic and electric sets. If you need live music or even if you don't this group is certainly the way to make your party memorable. Epic ladies with fantastic service from start to finish who provided a truly memorable experience for all.
