Was a great evening - started out by making guests individual cocktails on a menu of 5 different drinks and moved to batch drinks - he ensured to fill up the jugs before leaving and kept to time. We prepped the bar beforehand and provided equipment to keep the bar area clean / dry and easy access to a sink and ice - I think if you’re planning to book this service, that would help you get the most out of it rather than a lot of the time being spent setting up / struggling to keep on top of the cleaning.
One small suggestion is to maybe let people know ahead of time what would be useful to have in terms of a more detailed equipment list. As there were many guests and one bartender, we moved to batch cocktails which worked great, but we didn’t have enough jugs - this would have been easy to get had we known :)
Also using measures the whole night would’ve been more ideal so the alcohol didn’t get rinsed so quickly, but with 50 people and one bartender, he did a good job to keep things going and the drinks were lovely. By the end of the night he had a weird mix of spirits and mixers to work with and still managed to make good drinks, so thank you for making a great night for everybody!! ☺️

Richard and his team were worth their weight in gold! They worked incredibly hard all day to ensure the day went off without a hitch. They were very professional but still so friendly and personable and did absolutely everything they could to give us a perfect wedding day. Their services were above and beyond and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you once again. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Fantastic service, from planning to execution. Fernando was incredibly helpful and easy to work with in all the planning stages, and Jaqueline (bar tender) did an excellent job with the cocktails and also such a lovely person to have around! I can't say enough good things about Gary and his team. First off, I'm so so glad I booked GJ Events but honestly Gary made it an easy choice from the get-go with our very first communication. He was so amenable and helpful, responding quickly to my requests and questions and making me feel much more relaxed about what I was trying to pull off. He was super responsive via phone, email and WhatsApp and after some back and forth over my choices, he helped me create a delicious cocktail menu around my Carnival/Mardi Gras party.
As soon as they arrived at the venue, Gary and his assistant got on with the job of setting up a fabulous looking bar that really made the party pop. I loved that they were such good sports, even putting on masks to join in with the Masked Ball costume theme. I HIGHLY recommend GJ Events if you are planning an event where you'd like a bartender who knows his stuff, creates a seamless experience from start to finish, and lets you know you're in a safe pair of hands so you can kick back and enjoy yourself without any stress. Thanks so much to GJ Events for making my 50th birthday celebrations ultra smooth and being part of a night I won't forget!

Dan was absolutely incredible! The communication and support before the event really put me at ease and the event was absolutely amazing! Every guest commented how amazing the team were and how much they did on the day! No one had an empty glass and the cocktails went down a treat. I cannot recommend highly enough! Very enjoyable prohibition/speakeasy mixology class as part of birthday celebrations. Good contact throughout and Kevin was prompt, personable and knowledgeable about his craft. Would recommend!
