The Amycrofters Band is led by Andrew on accordion. He is a very experienced dance musician. The band has been delighting Ceilidh and Barn dancers since 2002. Andrew is accompanied by his wife June, who plays keyboard and banjolele. She adds further rhythm, phrasing and variety to the sound of the accordion. The couple often play as a duo. This makes them less expensive and more flexible than larger groups. With their lively foot tapping, varied sound, this is a popular option with organisers. If required the Amycrofters are fortunate to be able to call on the services of other talented instrumentalists, such as violinists, and mandolin, banjo and guitar players. They are then known as the Amycrofters Plus. The band provides full PA equipment tailored to the needs of the event, however large or small. We provide our own stage lighting if necessary. Equipment is safety tested and the band has full public liability insurance. Stage setup and ...

Hi, it a garden mini festival for my wife's 40th. I would only require you for 1 hour. It's starts at 4pm. So you could do 6-7 maybe. So you could perhaps go to another gig. Or 5-6. What ever suits you. Many Thanks Craig
Hi could you give me a price for you to attend my 40th birthday in May please? Thanks, Lynne x
Hi, We have been recommended to you by a friend who saw you at a wedding you played at. She said you guys were great and got everyone on their feet dancing. This is exactly what we are looking for. Our wedding is going to be in the garden of my parents house in Surrey. Please let me know how much Black and Gold would cost for the evening of our Wedding party and any other information you have. Also, would it be possible to play the song of our first dance? It's not a main stream song so I don't think it will be one you already know. Many Thanks,
Northcote House - Sunningdale Evening guests around 150 We would like a DJ for in between sets if possible? Please advise quote
Evening band playing a set of upbeat acoustic/folk tunes is the priority. As an addition, ideally, would like a second set towards the end of the night of more obvious 'party' tunes but understand that may not be everyone's thing. Also, option to provide pre recorded music between/after sets, but no worries if this isn't something you offer.
Having a party on June 18th to celebrate getting married last year - so it isn't a wedding but it will have a wedding collection of guests of various ages half of whom will be coming over from Norway. The venue is Minster Village Hall in Minster, Kent. We have to finish by 11pm. The venue accommodates 100, has a stage and back stage facilities but not much in the way of amplification. Seeking a band who play lively and accessible acoustic folk music. If I can't pick up the phone please leave a message and I'll call you back

Redhill and Reigate Roundtable 77th Charter Night. This is a black tie dinner for approximately 20 guests and I would love to have live music for the event.
Hilarious and amazing! Would definitely recommend for any event!
I hope 5 is the top ranking as i can't praise Alan and his Shenanigans Irish Music Duo enough. The music created such a wonderful atmosphere and made it a memorable experience for all the guests, who without exception thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Alan provides a reliable and professional service which I without reservation recommend to anyone. On behalf of my family I would like to thank Alan for a fantastic evening.
If you're looking for a band who will transform a tent full of people having quiet drinks into a raging fury of dance laughter merriment and general good times then BLAG are the act you're looking for. We booked them for a green and event to raise money to fight greenbelt destruction nearby and they instantly communicated with everybody In the room (which ranged from early 20s to late 50s and 60s) the minute they started playing. A great repertoire of traditional favourites and interesting covers especially the doors' "people are strange" They're compact yet sound huge- and the great calling instructions had everybody laughing and smiling no matter how awful they were at dancing the Gay Gordon!. Sometimes this kind of ceilidh can be slow and boring when everybody doesn't really know what to do but the band made it all happen very quickly and very enjoyably . Did I mention they're nice guys as well?
