David kept in touch and checked details with me beforehand so that there were no glitches whatsoever on the evening itself. He was polite and helpful throughout. We are so grateful to them! Sam catered our outdoor boho wedding and was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We had to rebook several times due to covid and change our numbers. He was super flexible and understanding. When it came to the food on the day it was absolutely incredible, every single guest complimented how delicious it was and I saw people go up for seconds, thirds and I think maybe one greedy fourths!! When there was food left over we got big takeaway trays to keep and kept eating it for the whole week after! I can’t recommend Sasquatch lodge enough!!!

Matei catered for a big birthday festival. He communicated throughout the planning stage, coming to the house to meet us, really discussing what it was we'd like on the menu, taking into account any special dietary requirements. On the day itself, Matei and his team arrived early to prepare - everything went really smoothly! We chose to have a BBQ. There was a huge range of food, and everyone loved it! I can't speak highly enough - Matei helped to arrange the perfect day.

Our birthday BBQ from Smoulder & Scorch was delicious! - the guys set up with ease, cooked amazing food and packed away without impacting on our gathering. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t as good as we hoped but it didn’t phase S&S - we had enough food to feed our party for lunch, dinner & lunch the following day. Many thanks, we’ll definitely be recommending Smoulder & Scorch and hopefully book them again in the future.

The hog roast worked extremely well. Everything was very professional and the staff were both efficient and friendly. There were many glowing comments from guests on the quality of the whole outfit and on how succulent the meat was. Apparently it had been slow roasted since early morning then brought to us and finished here for an hour and a half, which gave us excellent crackling. Generous quantity too. Highly recommended.
