The whole experience was very positive. The initial contact with PopTop helped me to work out what I wanted and to find something within my budget. Emails and phone calls between the PopTop link person were swift and businesslike. Then contact with the supplier and communication with them - taster menu, drop off, fine tuning the details for the event and payment - all went smoothly. The food was outstanding, loved by all guests and Fusion were on time for set up and super professional on the night. No complaints whatsoever and very happy to recommend them.

Contact with the provider was first class. Food was delivered on time and was excellent. Our only concern was that the labelling on gluten free options was unclear on the day and caused confusion and uncertainty. This wouldn't stop us using the same services in the future.

Rob and the team were fantastic! We set them the challenge of serving a 3 course sit-down dinner (including tea and coffees) for just under 100 people at a venue with no kitchen! Between us we came up with a menu that was a bit more exotic to your average wedding breakfast but also meant they didn’t have to hire too much equipment; having the converted horse box really helped with that too. We got all the orders in advance and made sure everyone knew what they had ordered on their place-name cards, and Rob knew the seating plan, ready for them to do their thing. With 10-seater tables having 5 serving staff worked really well; they were so quick at getting the food out, better than some of the poshest hotel-based weddings I’ve been too! And obviously the food was amazing! The home made mini mint-chocolate with the teas and coffees was an extra special touch as well. All our guests were raving about the food and how tasty it was, and impressed that it all came out of the little box parked out at the front! It looked and tasted amazing, I just wish I hadn’t chosen a corset-backed dress so I could squeeze more food in! In the end we really felt we had managed to get the best of both worlds: the traditional sit-down wedding breakfast but with some really interesting and tasty food, and we couldn’t have done it without The Pallet Box’s willingness to take on such a challenge! Food for Thought catering contacted me via PopTop and communication was easy and prompt from the beginning. Changing numbers, my request for desert and most notably additional dish hiring and washing were accommodated for a reasonable fee. Sandra arrived at the event punctually, was accommodating over the return of dishes and the storage of leftovers and worked efficiently. The food was generally enjoyed and several guests asked for the supplier's details. I was happy with Sandra's service and would hire her again at any time.
