Could not have asked for a better team to help ensure our wedding party ran smoothly! Rachael and Janine went above and beyond and worked so hard to make sure that everyone had drinks and that cleaning/clearing were kept on top of all afternoon and evening. Absolutely lovely people too who got on with all the guests in addition to all their hard work - we thoroughly enjoyed having them with us on our very special day. Thankyou!!

Booked for Birthday party

Warren and Dean were a real hit with my guests, they arrived in plenty of time to get set up and made sure the guest of honour (me!) had the 1st cocktail. What a great cocktail it was too. They were busy from the start right through to the finish but kept smiling through. Everyone loved the range of drinks on offer and they kept on top of clearing dirty glasses so the next day, it wasn't so bad to tidy up. I would definitely book them again for a future event

Bar staff were excellent - arrived on time, friendly, helpful, knew their trade, cleaned up as they worked, guests loved them. (10/10) RubyLemon admin. staff extremely nice and reassuring, I do think they should be more pro-active in their communication and communicate with all the relevant details at least a week before event - minimum info required, Bar staff names, contact number, confirm timings, staff experience. We have a party most years and in the past used a company in Brighton that are no longer offering this service so being new to using Poptop and RubyLemon I was worried having paid all the money to then hear nothing and have to chase for the details above. The staff were reassuring and really nice when I phoned but a lot of the time there was no answer to emails and noone answering the phone and calling back. It did turn out all fine in the end but when organising a big party it is one worry you don't need. The bar staff advised they only got the request to do the job on the Wed before the party which to my mind was a bit late in the day and is obviously why there was a lack of information being given. (7/10 - purely due to lack of communication and the worry caused and work I had to put into chasing them etc) Finally I would use both yourselves and RubyLemon again.

The mixologist, Sam, who was sent was brilliant - he was professional, engaging and went above and beyond. The only disconnect I would say is that it was clear it was an outsourcing model between PopTop, the company and then onto Sam, where in the process not all information was passed on effectively. Something that could be improved by Pop Top.
