We hosted a Las Vegas themed Casino party for an in house work function. James performed his Elvis tribute act at the end of the evening to finish off a fantastic evening in style. He had all the guests up on their feet and dancing the night away. I would highly recommend his services.

"Hi Although James was late starting for some reason and maybe the lavatorial crack about having trouble with his suit was a bit early in the evening, the singing was good and lots of people had a good dance."

There is a danger of this review not sounding genuine because it is too gushing but I cannot recommend Andy James highly enough. As I discovered when I started looking for an Elvis impersonator for a very special birthday for my Dad, there are a lot out there and it is hard to choose between them based on short video clips. So let me spare you the two days I spent researching and say look no further - I happened to strike gold! Not only is Andy's act just fantastic (I have had so many emails from our guests saying it is a night they will never forget), but he is also such a lovely man and went out of his way to make it a really special night for my Dad. He is a consummate professional who is a fantastic performer and his client service is second to none - when I was fretting about him not being able to get to us due to snow, he reassured me he would get on a tractor if need be and had never let a client down in 20 years. As it happened, the only thing he brought down was the roof. The video clips do not do him justice - book him today!

We delivered next level parties for exceptional companies

We also did more than 40,000 birthday parties. Probably, including your neighbour’s recent big bash.

Elvis Tribute Bands in London: the buyer’s guide

Planning a celebration in the capital and want that unmistakable swivel, swagger, and showmanship? Hiring an Elvis Tribute Band in London is a savvy way to lift the mood, get guests talking, and keep the dance floor busy. We book these acts for weddings, black-tie corporates, awards nights, product launches, milestone birthdays, and charity galas across the city, and we’ve learned a few tricks that make the difference between good and unforgettable. Here’s our complete guide, written for busy planners who want clear answers, quick decisions, and a brilliant night.

Why London is perfect for Elvis

London rewards big characters and polished production. That’s Elvis through and through. The city’s venues handle live music every day, which means professional sound, on-site teams who know what they’re doing, and access to extras like uplighting, staging, and late licences. Guests are used to premium entertainment, so a confident front-man with a tight set list lands beautifully at both formal and relaxed events. In short, the capital gives you the space, the tech, and the audience to make an Elvis show shine.

Two great directions: West End Vegas or Camden Rockabilly

You can nudge the show toward glitzy or gritty and still stay faithful to the King.

  • West End Vegas Show Think spotlight moments, gold lamé or white jumpsuit, and those big mid-career anthems. This suits hotel ballrooms, townhouse venues, members’ clubs, and riverside spaces with a bit of glamour. The musical palette includes soaring ballads and high-energy hits, with plenty of audience interaction. It slots neatly into black-tie corporates and awards nights where you want a centrepiece performance that feels cinematic.

  • Camden Rockabilly Night Dial up the early Sun Records vibe with a leaner band sound and a set focused on rhythm and bite. Perfect for warehouse lofts, eclectic townhouse rooms, and modern dry-hire spaces. Expect a fast start, crisp guitar lines, and a jump-blues feel that drives dancing from the first number. This version reads fresh and cool for product launches, milestone birthdays, and charity nights that want character over shimmer.

What an Elvis act usually includes

Packages vary by act, but most London-ready Elvis performers come prepared for swift in-and-out setups and clear deliverables. You can expect:

  • A self-contained sound system suitable for small to mid-sized rooms, with the option to integrate with venue PA for larger spaces.
  • Two performance blocks of 30 to 45 minutes, or one headline set, with a curated break to suit your schedule.

  • Authentic costuming in line with your theme, from rockabilly threads to the full Vegas look.
  • Classic hits across eras, balanced so both superfans and casual guests get their favourites.
  • Background playlists around the live sets if you want to keep the energy moving between performances.
  • If you have particular songs for a first dance, award walk-ups, or a product reveal moment, say so early. Elvis catalogues are deep, and good tributes relish tailoring the running order.

    What it costs in London

Plan for a price range of £700 to £1,600 for a quality Elvis Tribute in the capital. Where you land within that band depends on:

    • Performance length, number of sets, and whether you need early arrival or late finish.
    • Day of the week and time of year, since peak Saturdays and festive dates carry a premium.
    • Travel and parking logistics around central London, especially for larger rigs.
    • Add-ons like extended playlists or extra costume changes.

We advise setting your budget first, then prioritising must-haves. If the headliner moment matters most, focus on the feature set and keep peripheral extras lean.

    Matching Elvis to London venues

    • Hotel ballrooms A natural home for the West End Vegas Show. You’ll get spacious stages and in-house AV. Consider uplighting, a starcloth backdrop, and a short drum riser for extra presence.
    • Townhouse venues Intimate rooms love the rockabilly format. Keep the PA compact, lean into acoustic guitar and slap-bass textures, and let the singer work the floor.
    • Members’ clubs Discretion and polish rule here. Push for a refined set list, slick changeovers, and crisp volume management. A single spotlight can transform the space.
    • Riverside spaces Use the view. Time your show for sunset or post-dinner reveal, and keep speeches and the first number close together so momentum never dips.
    • Warehouse lofts This is your playground for the Camden Rockabilly Night. Exposed brick, a minimal riser, and a sharp lighting wash will give you a music-video feel without heavy production.

    Event types that love Elvis

    • Weddings benefit from iconic slow numbers for first dance, followed by pure floor-fillers. Guests of all ages know the words.
    • Black-tie corporates and awards nights gain a central spectacle that turns a formal programme into a celebration.
    • Product launches get instant theatre, a hook for photography, and a confident MC presence if you want a reveal moment.
    • Milestone birthdays call for singalongs and fun costume photo ops. It feels celebratory without being cheesy when the act is top drawer.
    • Charity galas appreciate a high-energy set that encourages donations and bidding, with a well-timed anthem to close an appeal.

    Building your running order

A clean show flow helps your Elvis act land perfectly:

    • Pre-event: keep the room to a warm background playlist as guests arrive, not silence.
    • Welcome and short speeches: no more than 10 minutes. Energy matters.
    • First set: 30 to 40 minutes, heavy on crowd-pleasers. End on a peak, not a fade.
    • Interval: schedule desserts or a short auction if relevant.
    • Second set: 30 to 45 minutes. Start with two upbeat tracks, then stack hits so the last ten minutes are a sprint to the finish.
    • Encore: keep one classic in reserve. Leave the audience wanting a tiny bit more.

Sound, staging, and logistics in the capital

London venues come with lift access quirks, loading bays, and curfews. We recommend:

    • Clear access times, including details for security and concierge desks.
    • A simple stage plot, sent to the venue in advance. This avoids day-of surprises.
    • PAT testing and Public Liability Insurance documents shared ahead of time.
    • Smart volume planning. Members’ clubs and townhouse venues often prefer controlled levels. Larger ballrooms can take more punch.
    • A compact lighting package. Even two front-facing washes and a backlight make the jumpsuit sparkle.

How to choose the right Elvis for your crowd

    • Voice and character: you want the tone, phrasing, and charm. Live videos help you judge that quickly.
    • Era emphasis: if you picture Vegas swagger, book that. If you want first-era fire, pick the rockabilly specialist.
    • Audience rapport: a great Elvis talks to the room, sets up the next number, and guides the night.
    • Presentation: costume quality, hair, and movement are not window dressing, they’re part of the illusion.
    • Reliability: look for acts used to central London call times, quick turnarounds, and professional comms.

    London-ready set list ideas

    • West End Vegas Show Suspicious Minds, The Wonder of You, Burning Love, Can’t Help Falling in Love, An American Trilogy, Viva Las Vegas, Always on My Mind, You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’ as a duet moment if the band carries it.
    • Camden Rockabilly Night That’s All Right, Mystery Train, Blue Suede Shoes, Good Rockin’ Tonight, Hound Dog, Jailhouse Rock, Baby Let’s Play House, Heartbreak Hotel, A Big Hunk o’ Love.

Use these as a backbone, then add one or two deep cuts if you have super-fans attending.

    Timelines that work in London

    • Six to nine months out for peak Saturdays, especially spring to early summer and December.
    • Three months is common for weekdays and shoulder dates.
    • One month can still work for birthdays and launches, particularly if you’re flexible on set length and arrival time.

When you book, lock in the venue’s access rules and curfew. It saves the back-and-forth later.

What you tell us to make the booking flawless

    • Your theme: West End Vegas or Camden Rockabilly, or a blend that starts gritty and ends glitzy.
    • The room size and any sound limits.
    • Timings for speeches, awards, or reveal moments.
    • Any must-play songs for first dance or walk-on.
    • Dress code details, so the act aligns with black tie or smart casual.
