Blag played at our party last weekend to celebrate our wedding, they were truly lovely people and great musicians. All our guests really enjoyed themselves and said it was such a change from a tribute band or disco, do not hesitate to book these guys . 😀

We hired Aderyn String Quartet for our wedding in June 2019. I can highly recommend them. They were communicative in advance, and gave us a comprehensive playlist of potential songs from which to choose. On the day they were all we could have hoped for. Highly recommend.

My partner Becky organised Pipley Dance and Ceilidh Band for my surprise 30th birthday party and I cannot recommend them highly enough! We had such a brilliant time and the band really made it the perfect celebration. As a group we were mixed abilities and ages, but everyone got involved at some point and we have had so many wonderful comments from guests about how much they enjoyed it! Rachel and the band were so friendly and such talented musicians. Their caller is excellent, offering really clear instructions and was great at making people feel welcome. I have been to a number of ceilidhs over the last few years and I definitely think that they are the best band I have seen. I just hope that we can go to see them again soon! Thanks to the band for being part of the celebration and making so many wonderful memories. Rob

They got everybody on the dance (even the most reluctant) Our night was a great success and it was all down to a fabulous band with fantastic music and entertainment skills Would absolutely recommend them."

Rock & Reel are a three-piece upbeat ceilidh band covering all the standard ceilidh dances. Our usual set-up includes accordion, fiddle and guitar/vocals. We will talk through all the dances (if required), using easy-to-follow instructions (and humour), and demonstrations. We also sing a number of Scottish and popular songs, allowing for a variety throughout the night. We will happily take requests through the night, and work with you in advance to ensure that we cover all your favourites.

About supplier

We have played together, and with various lineups, for over 15 years, all over the world, as well as at a number of national festivals (including Glastonbury!). Individually, we have all played and taught music from places ranging from Uganda to India, Australia to America.
