Hi- I am planning to hold a fundraiser country/ folk night. I am looking for a good, up-beat country band with maybe a wee bit Scottish folk thrown in. Usually around £100 people attend. My date is a little flexible.
My work Restaurant is holding a local fundraising event in aid to raise as much money for our chosen charity ( maternity unit at Wishaw general hospital ). The date of even will be on Monday 2nd may. We are having a ' family fun day ' which includes face painting and bouncy castle. We are looking for something a bit extra and different and would love to have your balloon making services. We are looking for a quote if possible.
I thank this band so much for making the evening really spectacular. The whole time you performed was energetic, entertaining and vibrant. I would like to have you in the future for other special occasions.
"I had the privelege of being at the Small Fakers debut gig last night in central London and witnessed the launch of possibly the first ever Small Faces tribute band. Just the one word describes them... AWESOME!"
As far as tribute bands go they're better than anything I've seen before and I've seen a lot of 'em. The sound is authentic and the visuals excellent with definitely the best 'Steve Marriott' I've ever seen. Not only does he look like Steve circa 1967, he's got the mannerisms off to a tee.
If we ever get film rights to 'All Too Beautiful' we would need look no further than this guy (Matt Bond). With bands like Who's Who and The Jamm doing so well on the circuit there was a conspicuous space out there for a Small Faces tribute which has now been filled. Check 'em out, you won't be disappointed!"
Our dear friend John had been a keen Lindy Hop dancer and would have just loved The Lollipops, with their mix of vintage and contemporary repertoire set to magical close harmonies, all brought to life with a wonderfully glamorous and carefully choreographed performance. Tears of grief turned to tears of laughter as many mourners took to the floor of son Lloyd's traditional local pub in Streatham to give John a fantastic send-off. Thanks girls, you did a marvellous job!
