Hi, We are looking for a German Band to open our Beer Festival for an hour and a half on Saturday 27th May 2017. The venue is Walton Village Hall. Walton Village Hall. School Lane, Wetherby, West Yorkshire, LS23 7DW. We are looking for a great band, though do not want the traditional German Beer games that often are part of the performance. A friend who is a german singer / dj is following on from the band at 20:30 Thank you!
We are looking for some music for about an hour at the drinks reception part of our wedding as guests are arriving at the venue from the church and having drinks/canapes. This will be inside (unless we are fortunate with the weather and then there is a veranda that we can use!) We are thinking this will be from about 2.30-3.30 (give or take 10 minutes) for an hour in total.
I am helping to arrange the Open University Degree ceremony due to take place in the Harrogate International Centre on Friday 19th May and we require a brass band. The ceremony commences at 14:00 but the band may be required to attend earlier for a rehearsal (11:00). 14:00 – 14:30 (pre ceremony musical programme) 16:00 – 16:30 (after the ceremony, recession) The band would be able to play their own programme of music, in agreement with the ceremony manager. There would be a green room available to use before and after the ceremony for storage etc. and we would provide tea, coffee and a light sandwich lunch. If there is anything further you need to know please do not hesitate to get in touch. If you could let me know whether there might be a band available and a quote for the cost of hiring that would be great. I look forward to hearing from you.
indoor new years eve event at our small country inn. We are looking for a solo entertainer to perform during breaks in our table service sit down meal.
The wedding is indoors but guests will probably gather outdoors and the drinks reception will most likely be outdoors
I am part of the communication and marketing team for the energy company Third Energy. We are in the process of pulling together an event for Yorkshire Day on 1st August. We are going to attend an elderly peoples home in the Pickering/Malton area and hold a Yorkshire event with them. This will involve a brass band performance, Yorkshire cakes and tea, and a distrubtion of white roses.
I am a member of my local Lions charity club, based in Accrington, Lancashire. I am in the process of getting together details to propose to the rest of my fellow Lions a Charity Fundraising evening of a Masquerade Ball, and I am keen on having a band play. As its only at the planning stage, nothing is pencilled fully, but I do have a venue and a date pencilled in, the venue is the Accrington Town Hall Ballroom, and the date Saturday 19th November.
Hi my names Tom Parr and I'm a producer engineer from chorley. I actually engineer dance music for a living but I'm looking for a singer to join me in writing original music that isnt dance music as such. I play the guitar myself so its going to be a mix of both electronic and live.
We hired the Apollo String Quartet for our wedding and we feel we made the right decision. The band was great at making the music sound special and unique. Our guests were especially happy with our choice for music! We only wish that we had gotten through a few things in our post-ceremony routines done a little faster so we would have had more time to listen to the band play some more. I will definitely look to see what I can hire them for again in the future; until then, I know that I will definitely recommend them for any big events that our friends have later on.
Hey John, Cheryl Hope you're both well. Just got back from our holiday and wanted to share a huge thank you for playing your socks off and making the music hugely enjoyable for everyone. Lot's of positive feedback from everyone! Best wishes for the future, best Yush Yush and Sallyann – Bride and Groom 29th July 2016 Fawsley Hall
I would appreciate it if you could pass sincere thanks to the choir on behalf of my mother and myself. Their music was beautiful and provided a fitting and solemn tribute to my father. I know he would have loved the music, in particular Heilig by Schubert. He really loved German choral music, and although I will never know if he had heard this particular piece, I know he would have enjoyed it. We had many comments from people who attended, saying how impressed they were with the choir, (including Father Francis) and the music really was very well received by all.
