We booked Blooming Dough pizza van through Poptop for our recent wedding celebrations. The pizzas were incredible, some of the guests commented and said it was possibly the best pizza they'd had! Just a couple of things to mention; - We'd informed James at Poptop of dietary requirements a few weeks prior to the event, but we were told a few days before that unfortunately they wouldn't be able to cater for coeliacs due to only having two pizza ovens/not wanting to take the risk of cross-contamination. Thankfully there was only one person at our event that this would affect and perhaps if there was a larger requirement for this, steps would have been taken. It was just a shame that this only came to light fairly last minute. - We'd also requested to have the pizzas served by the slice but on the night they were served as whole pizzas so it meant there was quite a queue for the majority of the serving time. But everyone thoroughly enjoyed the pizzas nonetheless! - It was difficult to know whether communication was meant to be through James at Poptop or Blooming Dough directly so wires may have been crossed in the planning stages and comms were sometimes a little slow. But otherwise, a lovely addition to our event, thank you 😊

We had such a great experience! Everyone couldn't stop talking about how delicious the pizza was. For anyone hiring for a wedding, I’d suggest putting up a sign to let guests know the pizza is free - some missed out because they didn’t realise(not Big Slice fault) It was super easy to organise, and the team was quick to answer all our questions. I even had to change the time by an hour, and they were incredibly accommodating. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for catering for a wedding or event. The setup looked fantastic at the venue, very professional!

The guys were absolutely amazing, I couldn't fault anything! We hired them as a thank you to those who had worked throughout the Covid period and it went down so well. Service was brilliant, pizzas tasted amazing and most of all they were such nice guys. I wish them the best of luck getting through the current period and hope we have an occasion to book them again! "Sam was absolutely amazing from start to finish! So helpful & prompt with responses and really put me at ease that everything would be fine at my birthday bash! He even gave me a text on the day to let me know that all the meat was slow cooking perfectly and on track which put me at ease just as I was getting ready for all my guests to arrive! As for the food - AMAZING!! Everyone loved it! And there was loads!! I think some people even had third helpings! Can’t recommend them highly enough. Thanks guys! Highly recommend booking these!!"
