There are some venues in Surrey that demands all equipments (electrical) that the band will be playing have a valid PAT certificate. PAT stands for Portable Appliance Test and it means that a band playing or using equipments with a 13 AMP plug possess a valid certificate. So, when hiring a Jazz band it is very important to check if they have this PAT certificate if your venue demands one.
