Description
Violinist for weddings and events. As well as classical standards, I am happy playing a large variety of styles and plan the music for your event around your preferences. I am able to perform on Acoustic or Electric violin, with backing tracks which I make myself to maintain quality, or I can bring a guitarist to accompany me. I am also able to provide vocals (again with backing tracks, or accompaniment on Guitar or Piano) should you require a mixture of musical items for your event. I have been teaching and performing music for over 25 years and pride myself on always delivering high quality music at affordable prices in a laid back, friendly manner.
The versatility I can offer as a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist provides more options for each client meaning they can select a bigger range of musical styles without having to hire in multiple musicians.

FAQs
What kind of events do you usually serve?
Wedding Ceremonies and Drinks Receptions as a violinist. I also regularly play Music Festivals as part of a band and singer/song-writer.
How long do you play for?
I'd expect a Wedding Ceremony booking to last around an hour: Playing for 10 minutes before the ceremony starts, the Bridal Party Entrance, Signing of the Register, Bridal Party Exit and 10 minutes as guests file out at the end of the ceremony.
Do you have your own PA and lighting?
I can provide my own PA if needed.
Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?
Yes, I have full Public Liability and Indemnity Insurance and PAT tested equipment.
How much space do you require?
If you just book me as Solo Violinist, I don't need much space at all! If you'd like me to bring another instrument, we'll need a little more space, but are fairly used to working in small areas. We are happy to work around the space you have - just remember to provide us with a plug if we are bringing PA.
My favourite tune is not on your list. Will you be able to play it?
Probably! I'm always open to ideas and requests and will do my best to provide you with the music of your choice. From Foo Fighters to Love Songs to Classical Standards, I'm happy to try them all. I've yet to say No to any requests.
