Kay Ahern has earned much respect as an independent singer. This unique vocal talent delivers with confidence, raw emotion and gritty vocals in every song she performs. She is both engaging and compelling and with a natural ability to get you dancing all night. She has wowed audiences all over the U.K, performing at many large outdoor summer festivals and also sang with legend Arron Liddard and his Jazzband (saxophonist for Amy Winehouse) on his U.K tour. Kay is a soul singer and performs solo gigs, live acoustic duo and also deps for bands as well as her own, Mutha Funkin Blues. She has appeared for now the second year running, at Poulton Summer Festival and more recently starred singing as a solo artist for this years Lytham Christmas Switch On 2017 alongside COLLABRO.

Performing as a lively Soul Disco Vocalist and getting your party on the dance floor is what i do well. However i can be accompanied with acoustic jazz guitarist Tom Vernon. Ed Vernon on double bass and Steve Harrison on drums should you require a more acoustic evening of unplugged live funk and blues.
