Booked for Birthday party

Pizzeria Alforno kept in touch with us on the day, as bad traffic delayed him slightly. We appreciated his communication. When he arrived, he got started straight away and within a very short time was ready to start serving pizzas. His pizzas were the highlight of the party, many of our guests were raving about the pizzas, they really enjoyed them. Lots of discussion about the best toppings! Super helpful and flexible to different guests' needs, the pizza van was a hit!

This was a great experience! I booked at short notice but John at Fine Street delivered a brilliant pizza service despite the pouring rain with plenty of options and really great comms, my mum whose birthday it was was thrilled and the pizza got rave reviews. Everybody loved the food the downside they were late to a techincal issue apparently they did text me and I did call them they were approximately forty minutes late which by then I had another food van for deserts fortunately they were in no rush. Other than that they the food was nice.

Potato pod were extremely helpful and friendly, they always responded quickly. The service was easy. All our guests commented on how lovely, well cooked and filling the jacket potatoes were. Definitely recommend and thinking how we can use them again 🙂

Such a great experience - Debbie & co confirmed what time we wanted to start serving food then arrived and set everything up in time for that, and their setup made queuing and choosing your food really easy. They didn't need a power source as everything was BBQ'ed, and it was DELICIOUS! Lots of choice (though most people went for some of everything!), dietary requirements (veggie, vegan and Halal) were all well catered for and absolutely everything was provided - plates (actually boxes, for ease of carrying) cutlery, napkins, condiments, salads, sauces and masses of amazing food. Many people came up to me (the party organiser) during the event to say how great the food was, and some people even took boxes of leftovers home - one person said the curried mutton was the best thing about the entire party! We'd book them again without hesitation - everything was hot, fresh, full of flavour and just a bit different from a standard British BBQ :)
