What an amazing night we had. Come the evening I wondered what I'd been thinking when I booked a flamenco troupe but it couldn't have turned out better. Jaime was helpful with the communications and got the "tone" on the evening just right. Somebody said to me that they had never quite seen the point of Flamenco but now they get it: Aneta's passion for the art and history of her dancing brought it alive.
I'm not a musician but it all seemed really accomplished: for me Cuffy's guitar solo couldn't have been bettered and Roos's sarangi playing is the best I've heard.
The troupe were happy to join in with the party and we had the added bonus of Jaime and Roos staying on and playing for us beside the fire.
All very special.

Unforgettable! That's the only word that comes close to describing the experience of having Ciro and Beatrice - Moto Soul - perform at my partner's birthday party. From the moment they took the stage, they transformed the atmosphere into something truly magical. Their song choices were impeccable, perfectly tailored to suit the occasion and the diverse tastes of the audience.
Ciro's charisma and energy was infectious, instantly captivating everyone in the room. Each note they played seemed to reverberate with passion and skill, igniting a fire within the crowd that burned bright throughout the entire performance.
But what truly sets Moto Soul apart is their ability to connect with their audience on a deeper level. They didn't just play music, they crafted an experience, weaving together melodies and lyrics that spoke to the hearts of everyone in attendance. Blag came along and did a wonderful job of entertaining at my rescheduled 50th Birthday party.
They were very accommodating, playing their first set outside and then moving inside in the break.
They are very skilled musicians and did an excellent job.
However, they are misrepresented as a Ceilidh band, as I had asked for a number of led dances and to have a caller encourage people to join in. They did a great set, but chose to play their eclectic set list which included celtic folk, rock, latin, world music, jazz and some some pop / rock covers and no led dances which was a shame as this is what I had asked for.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, just be clear about your expectations from the outset.

Kelly’s heroes arrived on time, did sound check and was ready to entertain our guests.
We had given them our choice of preferred songs and they worked with that. They accommodated request to teach guests siege of Ennis dance, which have lots of people on the floor giving it a go.
By the second set the band know how to keep people on the floor with lively songs.
Given I booked the band with less than a week before the event, the communication was great and the band were kind enough to allow my nephew to do some Irish dancing as well as play the boron drum with the band.
Everyone has been saying what a great day it was and how they enjoyed the band and music. Glad i booked this band for my daughters wedding.

The Black Velvet Band trio were extremely talented musicians who delivered a good range of Irish tunes to a very high standard, although surprisingly not the song "The Black Velvet Band"!
Overall they provided a great nights entertainment, I think there could have been a little more interaction with the audience, but I would recommend them to anyone wanting to hold an Irish themed night. Unfortunately we were not allowed dancing due to restrictions, once these are lifted the night would be even better.

We hired Rejigged for our wedding reception. The guests all loved joining in and learning the dances. Best decision of the day (other than saying I do) was hiring them.
