So, I was looking for a string quartet for my proposal event and I saw and reviewed the Sonore String Quartet and was impressed by their fantastic reviews.
I am here to add to those reviews, they were absolutely amazing!! Before I'd even confirmed the booking, I was in touch with Kathryn about the event and a tailored list of songs that I wanted for the proposal. She said that if they didn't know it, they'd obtain the sheet music for it so they could perform it, nothing was too much trouble.
The payment transaction was a doddle and I was provided a copy of the invoice. Then, they liaised with the venue to establish their entry (a fair bit of sneaking around was required as to not give the game away!) and as we walked up the pathway towards the area booked out, oh, such sweet music!
Luckily, my now fiancée didn't twig that they were there for her, allowing us to have time to pick the right moment to give myself a well earned knee ache!
Sonore String Quartet brought such a degree of elegance and classiness to the event and made such beautiful music for all my family to enjoy. And to boot, they were absolute troopers on quite a blustery, cold day. They are a credit to their profession, book them, you definitely won't regret it, I certainly don't! I'll be having them at my wedding :)

Beautiful performances. I will never forgot starting to walk down the aisle to my favourite piece of music.
Magenta strings provided everything I requested and were easy to liaise with.
The music they provided for the drinks reception was beautiful and many guests commented.
They were efficient, professional and helped make the day perfect.
As musicians myself and many guests were string players, I would highly recommend.

I cannot recommend the Highgate String Quartet high enough. I would give them 10 stars if i could. This amazing group came in at the last minute to save our Wedding day after I had been let down by another group. Communication with Grace was brilliant, she was efficient, helpful and super friendly. They have a varied repetoire which made our day relevent to us. I lost count of the number of lovely comments my guests made about this group. Thank you so much for being a part of our big day, you really did make it truly special.
