Booked for Wedding

Amazing doesn't sum up how great Giulia and the lizards Duo were. Accommodated to our needs. Exchanged loads of messages and a couple of phone calls to make sure all was good. All our guests commented how great they are and have asked about them since. Definitely recommend. We hope to book them again one day.

The duo were very easy to deal with answering emails very promptly. At the event they were great playing all the Irish traditional songs along with some more recent ones. They played any requests we asked for on the night and were very easy going and amenable.Ths event was my father's memorial in a small intimate venue and they were the perfect choice as they played while people were talking yet added a warm ambience to the proceedings People gave me feedback that they were a great find. Thanks to them both for adding something special to our evening.

Booked for Birthday party

Unfortunately due to coved we had to cancel our birthday event. Both the band and yourselves are aware and we’re very supportive and understanding why we had to make the difficult decision to cancel

Booked for Birthday party

Our sincere thanks to D'Arcy Spice for a great evening. The feedback we have had from all our guests was that they enjoyed the evening very much. The music was excellent and Polly did a great job with the "Calling", guiding us through a variety of interesting and amusing dances! So, highly recommended!

Booked for Wedding

A great bunch of lads who made our wedding reception swing. Their set was exactly what we wanted and set exactly the right atmosphere. They even let me take the mic for 2 songs. Which they probably regretted within seconds! A great choice for any kind of party.

Booked for Birthday party

Great communication with David since making the booking back in October and a friendly confirmation call the week of the gig too. Set up on time, in a tight space and a great atmosphere created for my friends 40th birthday. Playlist requirements provided by the birthday girl were accommodated for, even with new tracks to learn. A great band and a great night! One to definitely keep on the books for future events.

We delivered next level parties for exceptional companies

We also did more than 40,000 birthday parties. Probably, including your neighbour’s recent big bash.

Newick Folk perform mainly traditional music plus anything else that takes our fancy. That might be anything from I Am a Cider Drinker and My Old Man’s a Dustman to the themes from Captain Pugwash or Blackadder and maybe even Blueberry Hill or the SanFrancisco Bay Blues. We set out to entertain you and we love it when people get up and dance.
